Cedric munched on his food as fast as he could before rising again to enter the Challenge Area. It was almost midnight, but he could feel eyes on him, watching his fight. The crowd did not bother him in the least.
In fact, Cedric did not even notice that a crowd had formed until a few days later because he was so focused on the fight. His mind only contained the stone knight and its movements. The more Cedric fought and lost, the more he was sure that he could defeat it.
One would assume that Cedric knew something about this challenge to make him this obsessed, but it was the opposite. Challenges were common in Elaris, and their existence in the novel was barely noticeable. The protagonist never wasted his time fighting a challenge.
Cedric was not worried about his level falling behind. Even at the moment, his summoned monsters were hunting inside the different zones around Everhart. His level was slowly rising and had even reached Level 39 a few days ago.
