Feather Sword acted like a sharp rope that impaled the far side of the wall. The Right Serpent wanted to escape there, but found itself unable to bypass the rope. Given the choice between light and shadows, the monster chose to endure the former.
The moonlight struck the serpent, and the attack managed to inflict it with a small wound. Cedric jumped right after that to use Feather as a bow. Shadow arrows rained on the monster as it tried to dodge. The monster tried to escape but it struggled to move.
Cedric was confused as he saw the serpent struggle to move while receiving his barrage of arrows. Then, he noticed that the monster's shadow on the ground was impaled with some of his arrows. A strange idea appeared in his mind and he had to test it out.
The arrows changed their target as they began impaling the shadows on the ground. The monster began struggling to move as his shadows refused to move from the ground, pinned down with Cedric's own shadows.
