The commander circled around them on its horse. The giant's shoulder was tens of meters wide, providing a proper battlefield. Although Cedric would have been doomed if the giant had teamed up with the commander, that didn't happen.
"It seems the giant knows better than to hinder our fight," Cedric said, turning his head toward the commander. "You might have a lower level, but you outrank him, huh?"
The shadow commander bolted forward, proving to be a terrible villain. It was a shame that Cedric couldn't have his back-and-forth exchange of powerful lines with such a powerful character.
Cedric knew that the first step to defeating the commander was to kill its horse. The shadow horse had no real offensive powers, but it prevented Cedric from injuring its master.
