Cedric went ahead and pulled his grandfather away from the fireplace before he sneezed again. Eldrin objected but did not refuse when his grandson made him sit on the couch.
"I was just about to serve food!" Eldrin said with a frown. "You can't deny an elder his food."
"I can, if you are allergic to it," said Cedric with a sigh as he helped Morrin stand from the ground. Her hair was even more of a mess than before. "You should stick to your diet."
"Humph!" Eldrin turned away in anger without answering him. Cedric allowed the witch to sit on the couch before serving her a bowl of mushroom soup.
Eldrin had many allergies that almost killed him. There was one time that he tried to cast a barrier on a small army when he sneezed and ended up causing a catastrophe. No one denied his powers, but everyone feared his mistakes.
"What am I supposed to eat then?!" Eldrin demanded as he slapped his thigh and pointed at Cedric. "Give me the stew!"
