Cedric knew that if he were a character in a novel, he would have to be nerfed somehow. The author of Records of Elaris, the novel he was living in, would waste his time with political messes instead of letting him level up. However, he wanted to defeat the author.
Leveling up was addictive, as each level brought an increase in power and strength. After evolving his class, Cedric began receiving double the numbers for all stats. This was unusual.
In Records of Elaris, classes determined your best stats. A mage would see a higher increase in intelligence than strength. A warrior would experience the opposite. As for Cedric, he saw an increase in all stats. This meant that Cedric had a slower but more all-rounded approach.
Lower levels would not be hard to attain, but the difficulty would rise alongside the levels. For example, after visiting his estate and finding out that monsters were occupying the nearby forest, Cedric began killing them.
