Cedric turned around, looked at the recovery room, and made sure that there wasn't anyone else besides them. Then, he turned toward the priestess and pointed a finger at his face. "Me? Heroic?"
"The most heroic man I have ever seen," the priestess said while cupping her hands over her chest. "I will forever be in debt to you for saving my life. If not for your timely arrival, I would have been dead."
"I would love to chat some more, but there are more monsters like this one," Cedric said as he examined the priestess. "It seems you haven't been affected by its disease. Well then, farewell!"
"Wait!" shouted the priestess, pulling his shoulder back. "If there is another monster like this one, I must come with you. The Hymn of Battle will be wasted if I don't help you fight."
"That does make sense, but I'm in a rush," Cedric said as he scratched his nose. "Can you run?"
