Cedric studied the man and realized it was the same one who had died of excessive bleeding after his arms were torn out. However, the arms were now replaced with an excessive growth of flesh that looked like creatures with mouths and broken skin.
The monster was attacking a priestess of the church, who sat on the ground terrified and frozen in fear. Cedric could see it approaching her with unsteady steps as the two creatures for arms inched toward the priestess.

Cedric knew that the moment they touched her, she would become someone like Tristan or the monster in front of them. He stomped on the ground, rushing toward the creature's back before it could turn around. Then, he delivered a mighty blow.

Cedric punched the man's back and broke through his ribcage, sending the creature slamming into the walls. As the creature was still struggling to stand, Cedric turned toward the priestess.
