Cedric managed to find a spot for himself to rest. The words of the apostle, his conflicting expression, and what happened with Tristan were being replayed in his head. He began connecting the dots that there might be a link between them.
"You don't have the expression of a victor," a voice interrupted his thinking from beside him. Cedric was confused as he turned to find a tall young man with a military cut. "Long time no see, friend," Alde said before flashing a grin.
"Alde!" Cedric was pleasantly surprised as he rose to greet his friend. "I was beginning to wonder if you already lost in the first few rounds and decided to hide your face. Since there is not a scratch on you, I'm disappointed."
"You took more than just a scratch but are still acting unbothered," Alde said as he looked up and down at him. "I saw your fights earlier. Is this what you obtained from Xorath?"
