A few hours passed with the two men holed inside the walls of the Ascension Forge. After recovering, Cedric remodeled their room with the help of his friend. At the very least, they now had comfortable seats instead of the uneven floor, made from branches and clothes.
"We cannot stay here forever," Cedric suggested, placing a hand on his mask to think. "If we are absent for long, the church would get suspicious. We also have rounds to make."
"And I missed a few hours of hunting," Vynn said while growing out berries and eating them. "Want some?" he asked and offered Cedric a few, which the latter took and began munching beneath his mask.
"As long as we can dig through this dungeon, we can create a path either upward or downward."
"It would be weird if we suddenly emerged inside the coliseum," Vynn said while wiping the purple color from his lips. "We need to take a different approach."
