Zone A was situated right outside the capital in a circular distribution, followed by Zone B. These zones became more dangerous and branched out the further they were from the capital. And in Zone B, a small crowd was forming.
"How long has he been at it?" asked a burly man with a bandana on his head to his fellow knight. "I remember seeing him here yesterday too."
"You mean since yesterday," the knight said with a shake of his head. "He has been at it for a few days now. A few said that he never left the Challenge."
"Has anyone told him that it's unbeatable?" the burly man asked with confusion. The knight sighed and nodded. "And does he know it doesn't have a reward?"
Challenges were more common in Aeloria than in other kingdoms because of how many mages lived here in the past. However, it was a known fact that these mages barely left any reward even if one cleared their challenges. Most would leave a single dime out of spite.
