Shun left his house and began his morning run. After running 20 kilometers every day for almost a year, the boy had grown accustomed to it. While it wasn't an easy task, Shun had learned to enjoy this time.
After nearly two hours of running, Shun returned home and headed straight to the bathroom for a shower. Once he was done, he put on his school uniform, packed his backpack, and went downstairs to the kitchen to have breakfast.
Shun ate his breakfast while chatting excitedly with his father. According to what his dad said, he would be able to watch Shun in the Kanto tournament, which made Shun quite happy.
He then said goodbye to his parents and sisters and left the house, heading towards Shoto Junior High School. Upon arriving at school, Shun went straight to the third-year floor and into his classroom. As usual, he was the first to arrive and went to his seat in the back by the window.
