Chapter 199 - Let's Call You Alyssa

Roar—!

In an instant, an earth-shattering roar echoed through the boundless imaginary space, sending powerful ripples through the air like tidal waves crashing on a shore.

Crack!

With a loud explosion, the massive dragon's two enormous wings, as vast as the sky itself, shot through the blue-white cocoon like spears piercing the heavens.

Like Sebas's true form, this dragon took the shape of a Western dragon, predominantly dark blue with white armor. Its neck and belly were deep blue, adorned with sky-blue stripes, and it had four eyes. The enormous wings were blue, with a white skeletal structure, and both claws and wing membranes were sky blue.

Just at birth, her colossal body already neared a thousand meters in length.

Roar—!!

As if celebrating her rebirth and venting years of frustration, her roar intensified once she broke free from the cocoon. The terrifying shockwaves spread in ripples, shaking the surrounding Honkai energy particles in every direction.

Cough, cough "I know you're excited, but that's enough. Come over here."

Roar, roar—Awooo~

That cool, familiar voice, etched into her very soul, made her pause mid-roar. The once mighty and imposing roar suddenly softened, sounding almost… cute and harmless.

It's the Queen!

At that moment, "Miss, she seems rather... childish. Perhaps she lacks some intelligence? Shall I offer her some etiquette lessons?" Sebas's voice, though soft, was unmistakable to her sharp ears.

It's that old man!!!

"You old geezer! Always talking behind my back in front of the Queen! I'm not a child! You're the child! Your whole family is made up of children!!"

The soft, delicate voice entered Selene and Sebas's minds. Although it was filled with fury, it still sounded tender, devoid of any real threat.

"Wuuu, Queen... I thought you had abandoned me..."

With that, she locked onto Selene's position. The blue-and-white dragon landed gracefully, her massive head adorned with armor, bowing low before Selene's hand, nuzzling her in a display of utter devotion, her voice filled with grievance.

Feeling the cold, smooth white armor under her hand, Selene quietly sensed the connection between them, as if they were bound by blood. She gently stroked the dragon's head, soothing her, "Alright, alright… Didn't I promise to bring you back? Here you are, reborn."

"Though this whining of yours isn't exactly pleasant. You don't have a name yet, do you? Want me to give you one?" Selene continued, rubbing the dragon's head with affection.

"Mm..." The enormous dragon, clearly enjoying Selene's touch, slowly closed her four eyes in contentment.

"Alyssa… Alyssa Benares," Selene said with a meaningful tone.

The name "Alyssa" held a special significance for Selene; she wanted her team to have a lively mascot.

After all, look at Selene's current subordinates—either brutish warriors or stiff, old-fashioned individuals. The only young female subordinate was currently away on duty, and she was, well… a sadist.

"Benares" referenced the dragon's lineage, stemming from the same source as the companion Honkai Beast of the Herrscher of the Void.

"Mhm," Alyssa nodded, still a bit confused but accepting the name. It was now officially hers.

"Come, let me introduce you. This is Sebas, my personal butler," Selene said, pointing at Sebas, who stood with his usual calm demeanor.

"Hmph, I know him! He's the one who stole my body!"

Alyssa, now lying on the ground with her massive dragon body, stared daggers at Sebas with her glowing blue eyes. Her voice was filled with hostility, and if Selene weren't present, it looked as though she would have leaped at Sebas like a predator pouncing on prey.

"Alright, Sebas will apologize. He's even prepared a generous gift for you as compensation," Selene said, patting Alyssa's head with a mischievous smile. "Besides, most importantly, Sebas is very strong."

Roar, roar, roar (I don't believe you!)

Snap!

With a snap of her fingers, Selene turned to Sebas. "Sebas, show her your true form."

"Of course, Miss..."

Roar—!!

A powerful wave of energy erupted. A pair of massive black wings, glowing faintly red, spread wide. With a gentle flap, an enormous gust of wind rippled outwards.

Standing before Selene was a massive black dragon, its body covered in thick, magma-like armor glowing from within. Its enormous form gleamed with a metallic sheen.

Under the pitch-black scales, layers of bulging muscle rippled. On its head were three pairs of massive horns, each thicker and longer than the last, curving backward.

Especially noticeable was the dragon's massive, steel-like jaw, shining with a metallic gleam, and its sharp fangs, exuding a menacing, savage aura.

Sebas's true form as a black dragon dwarfed even Alyssa's thousand-meter frame, towering over her by several scales.

While Alyssa's true form exuded a refined, graceful beauty, Sebas's was the embodiment of brute strength and raw, terrifying power.

"See? I told you Sebas isn't weak..." Selene consoled Alyssa, noticing her sudden dejection. "Besides, your strength still has plenty of room to grow."

Standing up and dusting her hands, Selene continued, "Alright, Alyssa, Sebas, transform into your human forms. The welcome feast is already prepared."

"Yes!" Alyssa quickly responded, her enormous dragon body glowing white before shrinking down.

As the light faded, a girl stood before Selene—around 1.6 meters tall, with long gray hair and sky-blue eyes.

She wore a feathered headdress and a small white vest-like top with a purple four-pointed star adorning her chest. Below, she wore black shorts and white stockings paired with purple high heels. Her hands were gloved in black, with white armor attached, and her fingers were purple-tinted.

"Queen!" Alyssa joyfully clung to Selene's arm, beaming with a bright smile.

"Sigh... Don't call me Queen," Selene sighed, covering her face in exasperation. That title gave her an ominous sense of déjà vu. "Call me Selene, or General."

"Why?" Alyssa asked innocently.

"No reason... Alright, let's go," Selene said, waving for Sebas, who had already returned to his human form, to follow. She then led Alyssa out of the imaginary space.
