Chapter 68 - Chapter 68-[Council of Cowards]

Robb attacked the guards, without any hesitation.

Dacey at his side, while the army of the valley devastated the entire camp that the golden tooth Leffords had placed in front of the castle.

Their siege engines were ready to confront the great gates.

Unfortunately, the soldiers inside the castle placed hundreds of archers on its walls.

They devastated our soldiers.

Robb could use his wing ability with him and Dacey to jump over the walls. Or ride his Pegasus to take him and the girl, but the problem was that the number of soldiers on them were too many.

He and Dacey alone couldn't handle them.

His abilities were limited, he was not like Jon who used to attack hundreds of soldiers at a time, thanks to his summons, but the other way around, he attacked a small quantity, eliminating them one by one.

The Leffords knew of his abilities without a doubt, they learned from Robb's battles and adapted.

They were good, he didn't deny that.

The support of the valley was useful when it came to destroying the common soldiers on the battlefield with their cavalry, but when it came to archers on the wall, they could do nothing.

Robb had to hold out until the siege engines were ready.

He had obtained from Jon a Valyrian stone thrower, which had its stones charged, with a Valyrian fire component inside, which exploded upon contact of the stone against surfaces.

Apart from three more stone throwers that survived the battle with the twins, transporting them was difficult.

And since the stones were limited, he had to concentrate his fire directly on the doors, for that, he needed to aim, place the stones, and shoot.

It took time.

And the common soldiers attacked them non-stop, trying to prevent them from shooting.

The boy saw some men coming for him, who fell before a knife that seemed to fly on its own.

The boy saw Val, she had her hand raised moving the knife with invisible threads or they seemed to be controlled by the girl's hand movements.

Some type of throwing ability.

Beside her Dacey, she used her war hammer to throw the men back and forth.

A group of Valyrian spearmen were on the other side of the battlefield laying waste to the enemies.

Robb launched himself into the attack once again, a knight was running towards him, Robb waited for him to evade him at the last second, cutting the horse's legs causing it to fall, to eliminate him, then cut off the animal's head.

Robb took advantage and launched himself at a group of five that was coming towards him, his fire aura setting everyone he hit on fire.

The boy felt his eyes shine and he arrived at the white room, he did not hesitate to go to the computer.

Blood Aura: Gives a health steal attribute to your attacks, 70% chance to steal health from the opponent.}

He smiled at that and left the place.

The boy watched as they approached.

"Blood Aura," he whispered.

He attacked without any mercy, he could see his enemies fall and his health increase with each one, and the wounds in battle seemed to begin to regenerate.

"This ability is incredible," he murmured.

"His majesty," He heard and turned to see Dacey.

"We're ready!" she said.

Robb nodded.

"Shoot!" he exclaimed.

A few seconds later, the machines threw the rocks, the first from Valyria exploded hitting the door, and the others finished the job.

It was not more than ten minutes after entering the castle that the Leffords rang the bell of the highest tower, indicating their surrender.

Jon looked at his ships, it was time.

"Are you leaving already?" He heard and saw Sansa arrive.

"I'll be back soon," he promised.

His sister hugged him.

"Be careful, and don't make a mess," she ordered.

Jon smiled.

"Inform your prince that I will be as careful as I can be," he told her.

The girl blinked.

And she blushed.

She punched Jon's shoulder.

And Jon spanked her when she turned around.

"You fool!" Sansa shouted at him when she saw him enter the ship all blushing.

"Valyria! That is what the king of the north decided," said a burly man with red hair and beard, Ronnet Connington, lord of Griffin's Nest.

Others nodded at what he said.

"How long until the mad king's daughter comes and takes revenge on us, now that Robert is dead? " They heard Donnel Swann, the lord of Stone Helm, a younger man, with black hair and eyes.

Others began to say insults.

"Is Lady Shirenn an ally of Robb Stark? Does she know about the alliance with the Targaryens? "Asked Lester Morrigen, head of the House Morrigen of Crow's Nest.

"Of course…This has been the plan from the beginning. If only Renly was there, this would not have happened to us, Stannis was a terrible leader," said Aemon Estermont.

"There is no doubt what to do. We must act," said Donnel.

Others nodded.

"I have great affection for Lady Shireen, but unfortunately if we do not act now, everything we have done for our houses to survive will have been in vain"

"There are other problems," said Lester.

Others nodded.

"Dusk Castle and Black Shelter are with Stormend," Aemon said.

"And? They are weak," Donnel said arrogantly.

"Remember when my old fiancée kicked your ass, she didn't seem weak," he told him with a smile. Ronnet laughed.

The other looked at him badly.

"She's twice as big as me," he clarified.

"Enough... They know he is serious... The Tarth and Dondarrion were loyal to Stannis. Well, the Tarth daughter joined Renly, but her father joined Stannis... You know what I'm saying," Aemon said.

"Well, they will have to die," Lester said.

"Pig," Aemon said.

"What did you call me?" The boy muttered, standing up and taking out his sword.

Aemon also got up and took out his own and behind him, his men did the same.

[T/N: Sausage party! We be crossing swords over here!]

"Calm down!" they heard Donnel.

"What calms me down? This pig just threatened two families loyal to the storms...I may not like the Targaryens, and I may want Shirenn in the protection of my house, but that does not change that I respect and esteem the Tarth and the Dondarrion...They are loyal houses, honorable people...Not like this pig! I know that you, Lester Morrigen, would murder your mother to get some coins...But I worry about my comrades" he finished.

The silence in the meeting was uncomfortable.

Lester Morrigen was red with fury.

"Are you with them?" Morrigen asked.

"I am with the storms, with their lords, their true lords. I am with Robert Baratheon, I am with Stannis and Renly Baratheon, perhaps you Morrigan have forgotten your loyalties, perhaps the Lannisters can repay your loyalty, but not mine...The daughter of the mad king, an enemy, I am for her, her husband the king from Valyria an enemy, okay, the north, an enemy, okay... But Shirenn, no, that girl is our lady, she will always be our lady, rescuing her is the objective, very well my house and my armies are ready... On the other hand, Morrigan, if this is just a plot to get rid of Baratheon's blood, then do not hesitate for a second, you will face my army, because I prefer to humiliate myself before the mad king's daughter before sacrificing Stannis's daughter," he clarified.

"This meeting is for that, to decide what to do," said Ronnet.

"Decide what to do? That pig clarified that his objective was to kill the Tarth, the Dondarrion. Don't use nice words to decorate those of a traitor, Connington," he said.

"I do not, without a doubt Lord Morrigen has been passionate, but I do not doubt his integrity at the time of the objective, and Lord Morrigen, is clearly disturbed by the news, you know better than anyone that Shirenn Baratheon is a prisoner of the north, perhaps not by soldiers but by promises, or perhaps you think that Robb Stark has not contracted her in marriage with his own house, to obtain the storm lands " he said.

The man nodded.

"I don't doubt it, but what it says about us, maybe we aren't here, plotting against our lady, maybe you don't remember Ned Stark, but he was a great friend of the storms, and thanks to him we discovered the plot of the Lannister, he sacrificed his life to bring evidence and start the war against them," he said.

"No one insults Ned Stark, but Robb Stark is not his father," Donnel said.

"Ned Stark was an honorable man, a pride to the north. Robb Stark crowned himself, took the north, denied Stannis, denied Renly, his true kings " Morriguen said.

"And you blame him? The Lannisters devastated the lands of their uncles, before the war begins, I must remind them of the red wedding," he said.

"Everyone knows that the Lannisters are rats, the red wedding was a complete disgrace, no one denies it, nor do we deny how Robb Stark escaped, do you? " Donnel asked.

Aemon did not speak.

"Exactly, witchcraft, oh perhaps you also follow the witch of Stannis, perhaps Lord Estermont, you do not care about witchcraft...But I follow the seven, and in their holy writings, it indicates that witchcraft is a devilish act...Have you forgotten your faith?" said Donnel.

"I have not done it, but I have not forgotten my loyalties either, and mine, of my house, of my island...It is to Shireen Baratheon" he said.

"No one threatens Shirenn," Donnel said.

"Oh then what is this meeting about, because the only thing I hear is attacking Storm's Bastion and apparently Morrigen here, intends to kill them all," he said.

"I meant the Starks, the Targaryens," he said.

"And to the Tarth and the Dondarrion," Aemon said.

Connington sighed.

"Do you expect them to let us pass, that our armies are welcomed, and let us take Shirenn?" he asked.

"No, it must be negotiated," Aemon said.

"Negotiate?" Morrigen asked.

"Negotiate your marriage, with one of the houses present," Aemon finished.

[T/N: Agh, I am going to lose a lot of people who are reading this book now, but I will still say this. The seven is exactly how the Catholic church was less than 200 years ago.]

Shirenn looked at her mother's room, a candle burning.

"Mother," the woman heard.

"Shirenn, what are you doing awake?" the woman asked.

She looked at her writing a letter, Ser Davos was with her.

"What happened?" she asked.

"Lord Tarth brings bad news, I am sending a letter to Robb Stark," she said.

Shirenn had grown up by the time she was sixteen, the child she was when Davos met her had already disappeared, he took her north, and brought her with her mother to Storm's End, when Stannis fell in battle.

She had all the grace of a lady, bright blue eyes, and long black hair down to her waist. She still had the scars that her illness left on her. But she was still beautiful, and she developed her curves and although she was reclusive, any Lord would be happy to marry her without the need for the Baratheon surname.

'Quite a woman' thought the former smuggler.

"Rebellion?" she asked.

"Yes," Davos smiled.

"Nothing is certain yet, but there are some strange meetings between Messrs. Connington, Swann, Morrigen, and Estermont," said the former hand of the king.

"Estermont?" she asked.

He nodded.

"Uncle Aemon, he would never betray me," she said.

"I know about the Estermonts, they are loyal, but war changes people, and they can also be manipulated, that idiot Connington and Morrigen, they have undoubtedly convinced many people that you are more valuable as a wife of a house than as a mistress of the house of storms," said his mother.

"It can't be, not Uncle Aemon," she whispered.

"Everything will be fine, Princess," Davos promised her.
