Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Awakening Powers

Eryndor and Vorgath stumbled back, desperate to escape the pack's relentless onslaught. But as they fought, Eryndor felt a strange energy building inside him. It was as if his body was awakening to a power he never knew he had.

Vorgath, too, seemed to be changing. His eyes glowed with an otherworldly energy, and his claws seemed to be growing longer and sharper. The air around him began to distort, as if reality itself was bending to his will.

With a fierce cry, Vorgath unleashed his power. The sky above them darkened, and a bolt of lightning shot down, striking the pack with incredible force. The creatures flew through the air, their twisted bodies crashing to the ground.

Eryndor watched in awe as Vorgath's power seemed to grow stronger with each passing moment. The demon wolf's eyes blazed with energy, and his fur stood on end, as if electrified by the power coursing through his veins.

Vorgath raised a paw, and the air around him seemed to ripple and distort. A swirling vortex appeared, drawing in the pack members with irresistible force. They were pulled into the vortex, their screams echoing through the air as they were torn apart by unseen forces.

Eryndor stumbled back, his mind reeling from the sheer scale of Vorgath's power. He had never seen anything like it before.

As the battle raged on, Eryndor felt his own power growing stronger. He could feel it coursing through his veins, urging him to unleash it. But he was afraid of losing control, of hurting Vorgath or himself.

Vorgath seemed to sense his hesitation. He turned to Eryndor, his eyes burning with intensity. "Let it out," he growled. "You can't hold it back forever."

Eryndor nodded, taking a deep breath. He focused his mind, feeling the power build inside him. And then, with a fierce cry, he unleashed it.

A blast of energy shot out from his body, striking the pack with incredible force. The creatures flew through the air, their twisted bodies crashing to the ground.

But as Eryndor's power raged out of control, he felt a searing pain shoot through his body. He stumbled back, gasping in agony. His vision blurred, and he felt himself falling to the ground.

Vorgath rushed to his side, his eyes filled with concern. "Eryndor, what's wrong?"

Eryndor gritted his teeth, trying to speak. "My body...can't handle it. The power...it's too much."

Vorgath nodded, understanding. "Your body needs time to adapt. You can't use your powers yet."

Eryndor nodded, feeling a wave of frustration wash over him. He knew he had to master his powers if they were going to survive.

But for now, he was helpless. Vorgath would have to protect them both.

As the pack closed in, Vorgath stood over Eryndor, his eyes blazing with power. "I won't let them hurt you," he growled.

And with that, Vorgath unleashed his full fury on the pack. The air was filled with the sound of thunder, and the ground shook beneath their feet. The pack was torn apart, their twisted bodies scattered across the landscape.

Eryndor watched, awestruck, as Vorgath's power seemed to grow stronger with each passing moment. He knew that he had to learn to control his own powers, or risk being left behind.

But for now, he was grateful for Vorgath's protection. The demon wolf was a force to be reckoned with, and Eryndor knew that he owed him his life.

As the battle raged on, Eryndor felt his body begin to heal. His strength returned, and his mind cleared. He knew that he had to get back to his feet, to fight alongside Vorgath.

With a newfound determination, Eryndor stood up, his eyes fixed on the pack. "Let's finish this," he growled.

Vorgath turned to him, a fierce grin spreading across his face. "Together," he said.

And with that, the two of them charged forward, their powers unleashed in a fury of lightning and steel...
