Seiryuu High's flag football team gathered on the field for the first time since returning from the Tokyo training camp, their spirits high and their determination even higher. Jack Mercer stood at the center of the field, his arms crossed and a confident smirk on his face as he surveyed the team.
"All right, ladies and gentlemen," he called out, his gruff voice cutting through the chatter. "Vacation's over. Training camp was the appetizer. Now we get to the real meal. Let's see if any of what we worked on last week stuck in those thick heads of yours."
