Chapter 3 - Chapter 3:

The Trevor mansion:

Aimee's Pov:

"Where is she" fathers voice thundered in the mansion. Why was he yelling when the person he's meant to yell at was not here. "That good for nothing ingrate" he cursed under his breath and soon after Mr. Xander and his wife stepped into the house. This was surely going to be interesting; I thought as I walked behind mum to welcome the guest.

As expected, father tried to change their focus from the fact that Ailee was not present. He probably already knew that Ailee was not going to be present today so the reason for their visit will not be achieved and that will probably cause problems along the way.

Kieran's Pov:

I stood there, staring at my grandfather in nothing but disbelief. "You want me to get married?" I asked still unsure of what I heard him say. I was ready to do whatever gramps wanted as long as it made him happy, but I never thought he'll also think about my marriage. "I have someone in mind already" I said taking a sit in the chair directly opposite him "and I think she'll be the one for me" I added as a matter of fact.

He looked at me for some time seemingly lost in thought and then suddenly he burst into a fit of laughter. "You mean the girl your men have been trying to track for the past few days?" he asked, a mocking smile playing on his lips. I should have known that this sudden summon was something else but I just couldn't ignore my own gramps.

"I asked my men to look into her after seeing how desperately you've been trying to find her, but still it was no use" he said looking at me but when I didn't respond he continued. "So, I took it upon myself to find my only grandson a bride and I finally found one, a perfect math just for you". I looked at him skeptically for some time and then I finally asked "Who?"

Knowing gramps, it'll surely be someone he knew or the daughter of a business partner. "The Trevor's first daughter" he said smiling like a kid who just found his long-lost toy. "Isn't she set to marry into the Xanders?" I asked him with a frown while he responded with an overexciting smile. "The Xander heir is set to marry one of the daughters from the Trevor family, and unfortunately they never specified which daughter they were going to marry and unfortunately they've no power to go against me".

"Why her?" I asked. If anything, gramps was never one to stir trouble and him stirring trouble was never good news. "Don't you see, you guys have a lot in common " he said finally being serious "you both are hiding your true identities and faces from the media, and that alone should speak volumes".

I sat there staring at gramps in disbelief. "There are tons of mask people in the world today gramps. Why her?" There was seriously no way he thought I was going to buy that, or did he? Looking at the old man I became a little more skeptical. Gramps has never once talked about my marriage, neither has he ever asked for an heir, so this was kind of unexpected.

"You've been taking care of the company for the past five years, and it has grown more than ever under your reign" he pauses looking at me as serious as ever. "You'll need to settle down or it'll become very lonely for you".

The shift in his expression is enough to tell me what he's thinking about. "I've been doing just fine gramps" I say with a slight smile, but he doesn't buy it. "I'll get married once I find her ok, all I need is time" I say finally being serious.

"I gave you five years already, no more" he says and soon after his right-hand man Uncle Robbert walks in. I can bet my whole fortune that gramps called him. "We'll be paying them a visit tomorrow by 6pm, better be at the family house by 5pm and not that cave you call a home". With that I know that I've been effectively dismissed but I don't move, no I sit studying gramps.

He looks up and when he sees that I'm still there he gestures towards the door. I stand up with a loud grunt, loud enough that it had uncle Robbert chuckling. I bet there were both having the most fun time of their lives right now, they were fucking planning my wedding.

"He's gone" my assistant says after cutting his call. "It seems like you are really going to keep the fact that you've found the girl he's been searching for a secret" he says more of a question than a statement, but i ignore the underlying question mark.

"Back then, her mother's company was in the process of a huge growth, and then suddenly she commited suicide" I look up to see a knowing look look on Roberts face and all I could do was smirk.

"Dig more into that kid, she must have lived a tough life" I say standing up to leave.

Ailee's pov;

Bright lights break through my eyelids and I force them shut with a grunt, which is followed by laughter. I open my eyes again, this time more attuned to the light and I'm greeted by three faces, the only trio that live to annoy me. I look around to see that the source of the light was the window ,that could only mean..

"It's morning sleepy head" they announce with proud smiles gracing their lips, like they have accomplished something great. "I'm staying off the radar remember" I say with a bored look.

" We have good news"Statia says beaming. This better be good or else I'm finding myself another off the radar house. I rise to a sitting position on my bed and they all do the same, circling the bed.

" The Xanders went to your house yesterday" Bella begins and I'm quick to give her a look that screams 'as expected' and she flips me off which earns a chuckle from Cilia. "Anyway, the good news is you can go back home" Statia says. I look at her like she's crazy but she doesn't budge, that says only one thing, 'she ain't lying'.
