Couple of days later,Vera's mother and little brother had began to warm up kala's mood and she was slowly beginning to loosen up from her sullen look. That evening when Vera's little brother was playing outside,Vera's mom Lia called Kala and Vera out.
She had previously asked Vera what happened but she couldn't come up with what happened.Prior to Kala's mood she hasn't tried to bring the topic up for discussion.
When they all sat down, Lia looked at Kala and asked her what happened.Kala looked at them and immediately fresh tears gave way on her face. After some time, Kala told them everything that happened and how Vera came out of nowhere to help her.
Vera and Lia were so shocked that a family can be so cruel to their very own family.
I'm so sorry Kala,Lia coaxed her saying. And I want you to know you have found a new family.We are Always going to be here for you. Kala cried so much that day because he found love from the least expected places.
Weeks later Vera helped Kala secure a job at the company she was working for and was going to resume the next week coming.
Happy about the new development,she got into her room to sort out some things that Vera bought for her. Her eyes caught something and she felt cold immediately. Vera bought her sanitary pads and it dawned on her that she hasn't seen her period.And she had been feeling uneasy these past few days.
