Jake's eyes widened when he saw an enormous gate in front of him. He then took two steps backwards and squeezed his eyes to see if he was dreaming. "Is this my parents home ? Jake asked in amazement. John smiled shaking his head positively. "Yes it is. Is there anything wrong with it Mr Jake?" . John asked as they walked towards the director of the house. "Well! There is nothing wrong with it. It is just that I've never seen such an enormous building. It's just like a dream come true, my life is about to change ". Jake said as John concluded. "It's about to change for the better Mr Jake ". They both giggled as they eventually reached the gate.
John then pressed a red button which was at the corner of the gate. Then suddenly a round object in the form of an eye burst out of a small hole in the gate. The round object in the form of an eye then scanned them before the gate opened wide for them to enter.
Jake was speechless as he saw inside of the environment. It was spectacular and beautiful. It has a special swimming pool for white beautiful and many gooses . The environment was clean and its good aroma was nothing compared to Jake's home. As they continued walking towards the main apartment Jake so many beautiful and stunning things which made him realize that it's good to be wealthy. As they eventually got inside the house Jake eyes widen with amazement as he saw inside of his parent apartment. Everything was well arranged and tidy, the cool breeze from the Air conditioner (AC) blew fresh Cold across his face making him calm. The shining white walls and beautiful and comfortable golden chairs.
A woman in a beautiful and clean white gown with high heels came running and threw herself on Jake. Raining kisses on his cheek. " Ohh Jake! How have you been? I'm sorry for leaving you, but don't bother, you are back and we'll do everything to make you comfortable and happy". The woman said hugging him tightly. James was surprised and at the same time dumbfounded. "Who are you please". He asked in confusion. The woman's eyes were now filled with tears. "I'm your mother". The woman said holding his hand tightly. "Bu.. but my mom is dead". Jake said in confusion. The woman was sad and wanted to reply to his comment but the butler Mr John spoke up before she could do. "I think you all should discuss that in the dinner room. The master is already waiting and the dishes could also get cold ". John concluded his words as the woman led Jake towards the dinner room .
The place was wide and comfortable, the dinner chairs and tables well clean and neat. The room aroma was pleasing and Jake felt relaxed and comfortable. In the room a man who was sitting comfortably with his medicated glasses on felt a sign of relief as he saw Jake and the woman. "Is this our son? He asked with tears in his eyes. "Yes he is ". The woman said as she grabbed Jake's hand tightly. "Take a seat and let's discuss". The man said as Jake and the woman quietly sat down.
The room was silent and cozy for a few minutes, when suddenly Jake spoke up.
"Well! The room is suddenly silent. What is the problem? Jake asked as tears dropped out from the man and woman eyes. "We are your parents". The man said as Jake felt confused. "What! But my mom didn't told me that I had a father ". Jake said as the woman continued crying unstoppably. "We're your real biological parents. And that woman who you call your mother wasn't your real mother ". The woman said in tears in her eyes . "What do you mean that she wasn't my real biological mother. What's happening? My head is spinning. I can't take this ". Jake said in confusion. "It's okay son! I know that it wouldn't be easy to take this thing in. But before I continue any further, I would love to hear your life story ". The man said as he sip a wine in his glass.
"Well the woman who trained me was a poor but kind woman. She trained me hard and made sure to provide all of my needs so that I wouldn't be left out. We lived/ stayed in a run down apartment. Well it wasn't just runned down but it was also dirty and dusty. People insulted us and laughed us to scron, but my brave and caring wouldn't mind but treated me like her all world. She said that I was everything to her. And that she didn't mind whatever people spoke about us. She did all sorts of work to make sure that I didn't die of starvation. Even though we didn't have much we were grateful and happy for having each other. But on one bad day, she became ill/sick and died because we couldn't take her to the hospital because of lack of money. Since then! I have always worked hard to have a good life because she told me that I shouldn't care about her death but let me take care of myself. Because that was her last wish, I decided to make sure that I didn't let her down. So I started being a delivery man , distributing food to customer in different places or area . My life changed until I saw your bulter and he told me that my biological parent were looking for me and would be grateful if I came. But I didn't expect you guys to be rich, while I was suffering like a street rat". Jake paused as he wipe out his tears. "Why'd you abandon me? Why did you make my mother to die? Why is it now that you are looking for me? Jake wanted to ask more but stop short as he saw tears rushing from his parents eyes .
"We were being threatened by a mysterious gang. They threatened to kill you and they meant it. So our most trusted maid promised to run away far away from the gang and promised to take care of you. So we entrusted you to her and she ran. Please forgive us. We didn't expect her to die. Before she left she told us that after 16 years that we should look for you. Though she was old and maybe she knew she would be dead. Please come back. Her will is to make sure that you are safe and healthy. Please forgive us. We're trying to protect you ".
Jake felt sorrowful and noticed their rumorseful attitude and decided to forgive them. "I forgive you! Besides that was all in the past ".
