The countries of Demosthenes and Ignatia have been at war for over a decade. During their conflict, in the Kingdom of Demosthenes, a boy named Leith Amaryllis is born. He grows up to be extremely cynical, reading between the lines for even the most trivial of matters. This habit of his leads him to discover a peculiar ability that only he seems to possess.
What Leith could have never anticipated is that his ability may very well end up being the catalyst to a great conflict on a worldwide scale. He, the wielder, must use it wisely in order to do what is right and just.
It's unfortunate, though, because the "right and just" path is something that he continuously struggles to find.
