Two streaks raced through the wreckage of a world being ravaged and destroyed by invaders who descended down from the sky.
They called themselves Sabraxians also known as the parasites of the cosmos, monstrous creatures who, after draining their planet dry of all its resources, leaving the world an empty, lifeless and hollow husk, traveled from one world to another, draining the inhabitants of their life energy before proceeding to do the same thing they did to their world on the inhabitants home world, draining it dry of all its resources.
Now they've set their sights on Kinerix, home of the Kinetrixian, being revered throughout the cosmos for their incredible speed with considering them to be the fastest living thing in the universe.
The source of the Kinetrixian being kinetrix energy, a form of power Kinerixian generated as they run, fueling each and every step they took, allowing them to reach unfathomable speeds.
When it came to speed the Kinetrixians were as fast as they came, there was nothing really out there that could match them in speed, no other being in the vast endless cosmos even came close to being able to compete against the Kinetrixians when it came to speed but sadly speed only wouldn't be enough to save that from the Sabraxians.
The streaks finally stopped running only to witness the continuous destruction of their world.
They were two Kinetrixian siblings, brothers to be more precise, and the youngest of the pair having blue eyes and hair to match, while the older one had scarlet red eyes.
The two young boys watched with a look of pure and utter dread and horror as their homes were being ravaged by the invading Sabraxian ship that just kept raining down from sky by the thousands.
The great Kinetrix warriors, the guardians and protectors of Kinerix with the duty of maintaining the peace in Kinerix and protect all the people of Kinerix were sent to deal with the threat of the invading Sabraxians when they first arrived on Kinerixian soil, and as they were the first to meet them, they were also the first to fall by their hand, devoured and drained dry of every single ounce of their life energy by the Sabraxians.
The Kinetrix warriors were the first and only line of the defense the Kinetrixians had and with them gone, there was no one left in Kinerix to fight against the invading Sabraxian.
Runaro, captain of the Kinetrix warriors who was hailed and revered far and wide for his speed and his sense of loyal to Kinetrix, a warrior of honor and valor, who fought for Kinetrix still he took his final breath in the hands of Sabraxians, was the father of the brothers who were currents watching their world being torn apart by the Sabraxians.
Exelirus, the younger blue eyed and haired brother, and Sonikro, the older red eyed and haired brother both watched with sadness and pain in their eyes as they watched their world burn.
Then felt the ground begin to rumble and shake underneath their feet with the footsteps of what sounded like an army of beasts echoing from afar.
Exelirus and Sonikro then turned around and saw an army of the red skinned, three eyes Sabraxians charging straight for them, moving on all four legs like the monsters they were.
The two brothers, upon seeing the charging beast charging straight for them, waited not time in dashing away, moving with a massive echoing from being them as they raced away.
The two brothers ran through their ravaged world and brief flashes of their beautiful world before the arrival of the Sabraxians.
Remembering the clear beautiful blue skies the covered their world now replace with a hell red sky, the cities that once stood firm and proud, bustling with life as the people of Kinetrix raced through the streets, living their lives now reduce to ruins with the drained, empty and lifeless husks of the people that once lived in them littering the ground, and most painful of them, their family, remembered the way their father, despite having always, due to the nature of his job as the captain of the Kinetrix warriors, come home late, beaten, and tired, would still often find the time and strength to play with them, often racing around their home with, they could never really beat him in a race, most times the only reason they even came close to beating their dad was because he choose to go easy, he was captain of the Kinetrix warriors for reason after all, and their mother, would always yell at them for sending too much time playing and not enough time being productive, constantly reminding them both that they was more to life than racing and playing.
A tear escaped from the youngest of the brothers, wishing that he could hear his mother's voice just one more time even if it was just to nag and scolding as he remembered how she fell in the hands of the Sabraxians, choosing to running and act as a bait, distracting the approaching Sabraxians buying time for Exelirus and Sonikro to escape.
Their mother sacrificed herself to the Sabraxians so they could live, now all they could do was run, moving as fast as their feet could carrying them, racing through what was left of their home which was only carnage, chaos and destruction.
The two brothers then took refuge behind a large chunk of debris left behind by the Sabraxians as they rained hell down on their world.
They hid there and watched as they charging Sabraxians charged passed them.
They both sighed out of relief upon seeing that the beasts had missed them in their mindless charged rampage, finally they could attach their breath and rest their tired legs which not stopped moving since the Sabraxians arrived.
"I think their gone now" said Sonikro as he peeped through the debris they hide behind to check if the Sabraxians were still out there.
Exelirus remained silent and simply collapsed on the floor with his back lean again the debris, his mind they began to replay everything he had experience since the Sabraxians arrived, loss, the pain, and worst of all having within his very own world slowly morph in to the hell world he was currently in, hiding away from the monster that caused it all.
"Exelirus, are you okay?" Sonikro asked but there really wasn't any need to, they were currently watching their world slowly being revenged and destroyed, their parents along with everyone they knew and cared for were dead and they were currently being hunted down by the very monsters responsible for it all, no one, much less a young child like Exelirus would be okay.
Exelirus gave no reply or reaction to his brothers words, what could he say or do at that moment anyway, even if he was to speak and cry out to his brother about how scared and utterly horrified he currently, it wouldn't change a thing, their parents would still be dead and their home would still be falling apart, so what would even be the point.
Sonikro wanted to say something to comfort his brother but he didn't know what to say.
He, just like his little brother, he was frightened and scared out of his mind, who wouldn't be in the bleak and hopeless situation they were in, their parents were gone and their world was business being torn apart by the Sabraxians.
Sonikro tried his best to sport a brave face for his young brother but he couldn't bring himself to mask the dread and overwhelming fear that he felt flow through every fiber of his being.
Sonikro wished he could say or do something; anything that would change their bleak and hopeless fate but lies spoken out loud does nothing to change the grim and bitter truth.
Sonikro just sighed, seeing as there was nothing he could say or do to easy his brother's fears simply went to him and sat down on his floor by his side as they only thing he could do at that moment was to be there for his brother no matter how bleak the situation there were in was.
Exelirus appreciated his brother's presence by his side, the simple fact that he still had someone close him by his side was enough to lift his spirits up ever so slightly even though it did nothing to change the fact that their family and loved ones were all gone and what was left of their was ruins, death and complete and utter destruction.
Tears then began to fall down from Exelirus's eyes as he internally asked himself one question, why, why his home, why his family and why his world.
They were a peaceful race who did nothing to warrant the wrath any being in the cosmos so why then do they have to suffer such a fate, to be slaughtered and their home being in left in ruins as the invades continued to ravage and destroy everything, it wasn't right and the young and tender mind of Exelirus struggled to make sense as to why his fate and that of his people was so grim.
Exelirus was then pulled out of his train of thought by his brother urgently calling out for him, yelling out saying, "Exelirus watch out".
But he did respond fast enough and just as he was about to turn to see why his brother was calling out him Sonikro, quickly, moving as fast as he tired legs could muster, grabbed hold of Exelirus and quickly dashed away with him.
The very next thing Exelirus saw was a flash of red followed by an immense ball of flames engulfing both him and his brother in a fiery explosion as they tried to dash away to safety.
The force of the explosion scent Exelirus and Sonikro flying before crashing down hard on the ground.
Exelirus managed to muster the little strength he had to get and go to his brother.
"Sonikro", Exelirus as he made it to his brother.
Sonikro laid on the ground scorched with numerous wounds inflicted upon him by the explosion; he had made sure to take the full brunt of the explosion and acted like shield to protect his little.
Sonikro then looked up to his brother before trying get up on his two feet only to wince in immense pain.
Exelirus then extended his hand to his brother and then helped him up, allowing Sonikro to lean on his shoulders for support.
Exelirus then heard the thunderous roar of powerful engines above his head.
Exelirus then his head to the sky to see, with a look of horror and dread, the massive Sabraxian ship hovering over them, with its canon erected out, aimed straight for him and his brother.
Exelirus then turned to his brother, seeing the state he was in, and understood that there was no way he could stand much less take a single step or run. And it seemed as though this was something Sonikro understood as well as the very next words to leave his mouth were, "leave me".
"What?" said Exelirus upon hearing what his brother said?
"Don't pretend like you didn't hear what I said. Go; run as fast as those legs can carry you. In the state I'm in, I'll only slow you down" said Sonikro.
"No, I'm not leaving you," said Exelirus with tears flowing down from his eyes as he didn't want to lose his brother and the only family he had left.
Sonikro then looked at his brother, seeing the tears leave his eyes and the look of fear, sadness, misery and sorrow in his gaze, before saying, "Promise me you'll survive".
Exelirus did not even have a chance to give a reply to Sonikro before his body began to spark with red kinetrix energy following through it, trickling through him like lightning. Sonikro then, with kinetrix energy flowing through his entire body, summoned enough of his strength push Exelirus away, moving his body so fast that Exelirus didn't even have enough time to resist the push.
Then, just before Exelirus could reach the ground, time slowed down to a near halt for the two brothers, with everything around them standing still. Exelirus then turned to the ship looming above him and his brother, and then saw, with a mix shock, dread and fear, its canons charging up and getting ready to fire.
Exelirus then, with his body sparking and trickling with blue sparks as kinetrix flowed through him, attempted to stretch forth and grab hold of his brother but he couldn't seem to be able to move his body fast enough to reach him in time. With a loud boom, a massive blast escaped the canons and head straight for the spot where he brother stood. Exelirus, tried and exhausted, summoning every single ounce of strength he could muster, just to be able to move his hand a little bit closer to his brother and grab hold of him before the blast him. But, tragically, try as he may, the younger Kinerixian was not fast enough to reach his brother in time as the blast made its way to him, engulfing him in a fiery explosion before his eyes.
"NOOOO…." Exelirus could not even finish yelling in sorrow over the loss of his brother before he was swept away by the force of the explosion.
Exelirus's body was dragged away by the force of the explosion, his body skipping through the rough dry ground before finally coming to a halt as it scrubbed against hard soil.
Exelirus, beaten, wounded, and in excruciating pain, with his face looking up to the sky, now tainted red with an atmosphere of blood and destruction. He then saw, appearing one by one, thousands upon thousands of Sabraxian ships hovering high above the sky. The ships then began to beam away the remaining Sabraxians on Kinerixian soil, teleporting them all back in to their ships.
'Are they actually leaving?' Exelirus thought to himself, wondering if the Sabraxian, after revenging his home, and destroying everything and everyone he knew, and loved were finally leaving Kinerix after reducing it to a waste land. That was when he saw it.
Descending down from the sky, casting a shadow big enough to cover the entirety of Kinerix, it was the end in the form of metal and steel, a machine built to kill entire worlds.
Exelirus watched with complete and utter terror as the massive machine pierced through the sky and make its way down to Kinerixian soil and embedded itself within Kinerix before it began draining it dry.
The Kinerixian earth then began to crumble apart and break as the machine forcefully stripped it way of its minerals and natural resources, doing what was built for and what it had to countless other worlds, draining and stripping them down of all they have until they were nothing but barren, empty, husks.
Exelirus felt the ground he laid on begin tremble and shake, almost as though the Kinerixian earth was crying out in pain and agony as the machine continued to drain it of its life blood.
Exelirus, feeling the ground trembling and shaking, grabbed hold of a small piece of rock and watched as it slowly crumbled to dust as his hand made contact with it.
Exelirus then looked at the dusty remains of the rock on his heads before thinking about everything the Sabraxians had taken away from him, his people, his parents, his brother and now…Exelirus crushed his dusty palm in to a tight fist before looking at the massive machine that was busy sucking away the life of his world.
His eyes then sparked with a radiant blue light before he summoned every single ounce of strength he could muster and then leaped of the ground, then with kinetrix energy flowing his entire body, racing away at tremendous speeds as his feet made contact with the shaking ground.
Exelirus raced away, running as fast as his legs could carry and then some, pushing his body harder to reach speeds he had never thought possible. With memories of his home, his people, and family, pushing and driving every step he took.
Not slowing down, not even for nanosecond. Exelirus kept pushing and pushing, with the overwhelming fear he felt for the Sabraxian turning in to a fierce and unrivaled rage for every single drop of Kinerixian blood split on Kinerixian soil, for his father who gave his life to protect Kinerix from the Sabraxian, for his mother who sacrificed herself so he and his brother could live, and his brother, the one who stuck by him through madness and as there world slowly began to turn wither and die away in the hands of the Sabraxian, his best friend, the one who was always there to give him a push when he needed it, he used this rage to fuel each and every single step he took.
Exelirus raced around Kinerix at hyper speeds, moving faster and fast with each step he took, and as he kept moving at those staggering and unbelievable speeds, kinetrix energy began to build up within his body. With every step he took, racing through the Kinerix soil, his body generated more and more kinetrix energy.
Exelirus then, having built up enough charge, set his sights on the massive machine. Then, moving like a super charged bullet, he raced off, leaving behind a trail of blue light as he ran straight for the machine. Then, as his body was about to collide with the machine, Exelirus crushed his hand in to a tight fist before launching straight for the machine, releasing all the Kinetrix energy his body generated as he raced through Kinerix in one devastating blow. The force and sheer power behind that single blow delivered by Exelirus, using every single ounce of power and Kinerix energy his body could muster was enough to create an explosion great enough to engulf both the machine and the entirety of Kinerix within, the destroying the entire planet with a trace.
Kinerix was gone, dead and destroyed, its people slaughtered by the Sabraxians and it seemed like all traces of the world's existence was, like the planet, destroyed, well, all except one. Racing through the vast and endless expanse of space, like a comet cover with a blue hue was a small Kinerixian boy, Exelirus, the last of his kind and the only one to survive complete destruction of his home world. Now his body his racing through cosmos, following a path leading towards a certain blue planet called Earth.
