Unlocking the door with his key, Hiroshi stepped inside his home. It was a modest house, but he still had to admit it had a special charm to it. The walls were adorned with framed photographs—memories of happier times with his parents. The familiar scent of home enveloped him as he dropped his bag by the door and headed to the kitchen to grab a drink.
As he took a sip of water and released a deep breath, Hiroshi felt a mix of emotions. He had a lot to learn and prepare for in this new world. But for the first time in a long time, after his sorry excuse of a past life, he felt a sense of purpose and excitement about what the future might hold.
Time passed, and Hiroshi made his way to his room, a typical Japanese sleeping room with tatami mats and a low futon bed. The simplicity of it was comforting, a stark contrast to the cluttered room he had left behind in his previous life.
A low wooden table sat in the corner, and a sliding shoji door led to a small balcony overlooking a garden. Hiroshi placed his belongings neatly in the corner and took off his shirt as it was a habit from his past life and laid down on the futon. His mind buzzed with thoughts of the day's events. Despite his exhaustion, sleep didn't come easily.
The unfamiliarity of his surroundings and the adrenaline of being in a new world kept his mind restless.
The next morning, Hiroshi woke up with a yawn. "Still not used to sleeping on this futon," he muttered to himself, stretching his limbs. After a simple breakfast of rice and miso soup, he got ready and dressed, preparing to face another day in this strange new reality.
After locking the door behind him, Hiroshi headed towards the school. The streets were bustling with people going about their daily routines, a mix of normalcy and the fantastical world he now found himself in.
After a few minutes of walking, he reached his destination—Karakura High School. The sight was surreal yet familiar, resembling the setting he had seen countless times in the anime.
Tall buildings with traditional Japanese architecture surrounded him, and students dressed in uniforms bustled around the courtyard.
Hiroshi took a deep breath and entered the building, making his way to his classroom. He was greeted by the sight of familiar faces—Ichigo, Orihime, Chad, and others.
To tell you the truth, it was still shocking for Hiroshi to see them in person, not just on a screen.
"Good morning," his deskmate Tatsuki Arisawa greeted him
Hiroshi walked into the classroom, greeted by the familiar sight of his classmates milling around before the start of the lesson. As he stepped inside, his desk mate, Tatsuki Arisawa, turned to greet him with a bright smile. Standing next to her was Orihime Inoue, her best friend, who also smiled warmly at him.
"Good morning, Hiroshi-kun," Tatsuki said cheerfully.
"Morning, Hiroshi-san!" Orihime also greeted him.
