She finally left the door open for them to come in . She didn't have much energy to exchange words with them and immediately left for the sitting room . She had things to do and needed to eat so she could feed her child , for all she cared they could rot there. She didn't really have any grudge against Sapphira or Amos as they had never really had any relationship in the pads and from what her husband had told her Sapphira wasn't someone to be trifled with , she was cunning and selfish. A lot of times she had wondered how they were siblings. Seeing her now was giving a lot of bad vibes.
She never liked Amos despite all her husband claims of their closeness . Maybe it was just a woman's intuition. To her he was a very dirty and shady person. In the past he had even made advances towards her but she had said nothing about it to her husband because of their relationship, he was really disgusting.
Despite her unease she still let them in. She hadn't walked too far when she noticed the big boxes they had come with and this just didn't go well with her. She turned around pointing at the box with a very ugly expression.
Dorcas : " what for ?"
Sapphira :" sweet sister in law as you can see very clearly this is our luggage. U know, we thought it would be good if we come to stay with you and give you company and obviously it was a wonderful idea right!"
Dorcas :"....." huh
This was totally unbelievable since when did Sapphira start to care about her definitely something was up.
Amos :" Don't worry we mean no harm after all we were very close to Stephen and he wouldn't have minded us coming here to take care of you and Sapphira is your husband sister and you should be happy that she came to help."
With that smile on his face she really felt like slitting his throat or maybe skinning him alive would be better . She didn't want to come to conclusions yet after all the was no solid proof against them yet she just had to be observant maybe it would really be interesting.
Dorcas :" I might need be chasing you away now but so you know I don't welcome you either and I'm very sure I'm old enough to care for myself and my child."
