That bitch, Selene, was leaving.
Finally! Austin successfully convinced her to go to the Rainbow Pack to investigate the truth.
Surely, he would be able to handle her once she was separated from Dexter.
As long as she never came back, I would be happy.
Dexter would finally be mine.
Although I sincerely wanted Selene dead, I needed to pretend to be good to her.
After the banquet, I went to her and expressed my sympathy.
"Selene, in my eyes, you're still Dexter's mate.Don't worry.I believe you'll be able to prove your innocence.It makes me sad to see you be misunderstood.I hope you find out the truth as soon as possible so that you can marry my brother."
As I spoke, I dramatically wiped the tears from the corners of my eyes.
Selene noticed this and took a step back in surprise right into the arms of Dexter.
