Selene's POV:
Although I promised Dexter that I wouldn't go to the hospital to take care of Daniel, I was still worried about him.
In particular, when I received a message from the doctor saying that Daniel had finally regained consciousness, I wanted to go and see him.
Otherwise, I would seem too ungrateful.
Therefore, I carefully brought up the matter to Dexter.
As soon as I finished my words, Dexter's face turned cold again, but in the end, he agreed.
"Okay, but I'm coming with you." He left me no room to refuse.
"Okay," I replied.
Dexter smiled and gave me a tight hug.
When the two of us arrived at the hospital, Dexter entered Daniel's ward first.
I followed him in and closed the door behind me.
Daniel's eyes widened in surprise as soon as he saw Dexter.
It was obvious that he was so flattered by Dexter's visit that he wanted to sit up, but he was too weak to do so.
