"Among the whispering leaves, I found the first traces of change. The night breeze carries secret messages, and the stars escort my steps to a destiny yet to be revealed."
Hmm... What marvellous words. James, an academic and amateur writer who dreams of rising in social class.
"James..."
Hmm, James, are you still in this library?
You should go home, James!
"Yes, I'm still here to look up various references for my paper."
James, you should go home. You've been here for hours.
"I'm not here for no reason. I'm looking for references and a paper that is so phenomenal. By becoming a writer who produces interesting works, I hope to earn a lot of money."
Hehe, so you want to become a famous writer so you can earn a lot of money then?
"Yeah, right."
Well, it's time for you to go, James. You've had enough here. Hurry up and get out, you look tired...
"No! I won't just leave until..." Pwehh-pweeh.
Hey, what are you doing? That's enough, it's time for you to go home, James. You look tired, get some rest...
Hushh....
Okay, then...
James drove home through a park with a carnival event. Carnival, huh?
Hallooo... Hello... Welcome to the Red of Magician. You're the first person. Why don't you take your time with my tarot cards? How about it?
"Heewh... No need, I just want to go home. I just happened to pass by this park."
Owhh... Come on, you're the first person. So, let's try to predict your life!
"Hehehe, NO! I just want to go home. So, please move aside."
Oh, you still don't want to, do you? How about free?
"Hmmm, No! I know your trick. You'll say that to get me to try it, then you'll charge me after I'm done, right? Hehehe, I knew it."
No! I mean it. It's totally free for you. So, how was it?
James sighed and looked at the tarot cards held by the fortune teller. His face looked doubtful, but curiosity overcame his hesitation.
"Alright," James muttered, "but only once, yeah."
The fortune teller smiled and shuffled the tarot cards carefully. After a while, he placed three cards on the table. James looked at them with interest.
"The first card," said the soothsayer, "is the Life Card. It represents your journey so far. You have faced many challenges, but also many opportunities."
James nodded, musing about his tumultuous life journey.
"The second card," the fortune teller continues, "is the Card of Change. It signifies that big changes are coming in your life. Perhaps a new opportunity or an important decision you will have to make."
James bit his lip. What big change was in store for him?
"And the last card," said the fortune teller in a serious voice, "is the Star Card. It's a sign of hope and good fortune. You have great potential to achieve whatever you want."
James felt his heart flutter. Hope and luck-that's what he'd been looking for.
"So, James," said the astrologer, "what would you like to know more about? Or would you like to try again with another card?"
James looked at the cards on the table. Was this just a game or was there a deeper meaning? He decided to ask further.
"How can I achieve success as a writer?" he asked.
The fortune teller smiled. "Ah, that's an interesting question. Let's see..."
James waited with baited breath. What would the tarot cards say this time?
Sure, let's continue divination with tarot cards. Each card has a deep meaning, and we'll see what it reveals for you.
The fortune teller took another card from the deck and placed it on the table.
"This card," he said, "is the Card of Enlightenment. It signifies that you will find a new insight or understanding that will pave the way to success."
James stared at the card with mixed feelings. Enlightenment-it was something he had been looking for in his writing.
"However," the oracle continued, "this card also warns of challenges. You must be willing to face uncertainty and take risks to achieve your goals."
James nodded. He knew writing was not an easy journey.
"Lastly," says the fortune teller gently, "the Inspiration Card. It signifies that you will find an unexpected source of inspiration. It may be a person, place, or experience that will change your perspective."
James pondered. Inspiration-that was the key.
"So, James," said the oracle, "keep writing with determination and open your eyes and heart to enlightenment and inspiration. Success awaits at the end of your journey."
James smiled. Maybe there was a miracle waiting for him.
"Thank you," he told the fortune teller, and walked away. The cards still haunted his mind. Was this just a game or a true message?
Only time would tell.
After leaving the park and the tarot card reading, James walked home with light steps. Dusk light greeted him as he arrived at his apartment.
James opened the door and entered the kitchen. He selected the fresh ingredients he had bought earlier. Expertly, he begins cooking his favourite dish: risotto with mushrooms and parmesan cheese. A wonderful aroma fills the room, and James feels satisfied with his work.
After a delicious dinner, James took a book from the shelf. The title was "The Quantum Paradox: Bridging Science and Spirituality." James was a lover of science and philosophy. He switched on the table lamp and started reading, musing about the relationship between the mind and the universe.
Time passed quickly. James felt the sun setting as he finished the last chapter. He switched off the light and lay down on the bed. His mind drifted to the tarot card artist's fortune telling. Did enlightenment and inspiration really await him?
James knew that the journey to success was not an easy one. However, he was up for the challenge and took the risk. In the stillness of the night, he fell asleep with big dreams escorting him towards a destiny yet to be revealed.
