Clarence and Chester had been holding their breath until that moment. They believed Calliope and Emilia would cause a scene and destroy the building. Luckily for the two men, the women must've been under strict orders from Grendar not to do anything that would further disgrace them.
They heaved sighs of relief when Calliope and Emilia exited from their immediate sight. "Goodness, someone wasn't tolerating their behavior," Chester murmured.
Clarence shook his head with a grimace. "Yet they want to become diplomats?"
Chester grunted. "At the rate they're going, they'll be banned into time flat for having no sense of decorum, much less an inability to read the room." He glanced at the list of names and made a sour face. "Ugh, no wonder they got nowhere with these named people."
