As Sloane wandered the far-ranging and eventually narrowing path he'd chosen, it didn't take long for him to realize Isalo followed him. The cramped path eventually opened into a vast cavern with small shallow pools.
However, as Sloane looked around, he saw that it could fill all the way to the ceiling and that there were numerous stalactites there. "Well, now, this is puzzling." He looked around curiously. "How is it that water doesn't flow out of the path?" There was powdery silt all over the path, indicating that it had been dry for some time.
