With everything they'd gone through, Clarence was shocked that Chester was willing to consider going through the portal. He thought he was a coward because he had trauma from something that horrible? The terror emanating from Chester was the real deal. Who on earth made him believe he was something less than masculine for having such horrific fears? Clarence couldn't understand how Chester hadn't been given counseling after what happened. Then again, Chester was raised in Bellonia, where many things were overlooked and considered unnecessary. Clarence's mouth flattened when he thought about what Chester would require to function normally.
