Siroos frantically paced the little space in their rented room while Faris sat wide-legged, staring at his mate who was still unconscious.
"Are you sure she is the fox-shifter?" Siroos asked again just to confirm.
Since Faris had never seen her in her human form, Siroos had doubts.
"There is no mistaking that scent, it's driving my wolf and my fox spirit crazy right now. It's her, the fox that made me chase her." His heart screamed at him holding the naked truth which was tearing him apart.
"Besides, she couldn't have scented or recognised me, so her scent is real. She is my mate, whether I like it or not." Faris's words made sense but it didn't lessen the predicament both brothers were finding themselves in.
"I hope she is ready to tell us where that bastard is keeping Cassandra," Siroos said with clenched teeth.
The thought of her not cooperating would be a disaster and he wasn't sure how much patience he had left.
