Lana and the two other females soon brought buckets of cool water, freshly drawn from the well and poured it into the clay tub.
They also brought fresh soaking clothes, jars of cleaning herbs and petals, heena and towels.
"Alpha! Do you need any more assistance?" Lana asked, her eyes swaying from Siroos to Cassandra. While the former appeared casual and relaxed the latter was nervous.
"I got it covered. Thank you, Lana. You can resume the rest of the preparations tomorrow morning. I will handle the bathing and applying of heena," he promptly informed her.
Horrified, Lana opened her mouth to inform him that these rituals were supposed to be done by them. Siroos's arched brow and the dour look he shot her made her close it again.
Respectfully bowing, they took their leave from the room before getting reprimanded.
