I thought as I grabbed the first shot with my bloody hands and gulped It down, followed by the other 29 only for a gangster who was still somehow alive to lunge at me from behind, but just before the man's knife sank Into my back I spun around while grabbing the mans head and pushed It straight Into the bars counter causing his head to split like a melon.
After doing this I looked around only to confirm that there were no stragglers left and the only sound of people was left In one of the private booths so I grabbed the opened vodka bottle and while drinking the alcohol as If It was water made my way to my target.
Finally, I reached a private booth that had a very good sound Isolation Inside, the ones responsible for the hit were enjoying the company of multiple women. They looked up, their laughter dying as they saw my bloody form.
"Who the f*ck are you?"
One of them snarled, reaching for a weapon.
"Im youre f*ther you c*nt"
I joked, stepping forward, In a blur of motion, I closed the distance, grabbing the first man's head and slamming it into the table, his skull cracking open like an egg under the force. Blood sprayed as I turned to the next one, driving my fist into his gut causing my fist to exit from his back.
The remaining men tried to fight back, but they were no match for me I moved with lethal precision, breaking bones and crushing throats.
The women screamed and fled, but I paid them no mind, they weren't my targets.
Within seconds, it was over. The booth was a scene of carnage, the gang members lying dead in a pool of their own blood.
Breathing lightly, I surveyed the scene, my mind cold and clear, this was justice, my kind of justice, and it wasn't over yet.
I walked to the back exit, stepping over bodies and shattered glass, the music had stopped, replaced by the eerie silence of a nightclub turned slaughterhouse.
"Lilith locate the c*nt for me"
I muttered to myself, wiping the blood from my hands with a towel from Hopes Inventory as I used my borrowed Inventory function to change my clothes as I kicked open the back exits door causing It to fly off Its hinges.
I walked out into the night, leaving the carnage behind, my work was far from done.
...
Fang Xi stood with her brother in the middle of the room as she looked at her unconscious father connected to various medical cables.
The special ward, for VIPs was filled with medical equipment, but all was useless for treating late stage cancer.
"Sis there's no other way we must take a gamble, I hate to admit it but our father Is going to die anyway"
She hesitated for a moment hearing her brother's words then sighed before she reached into her pocket.
She approached her father as she took out the scifi looking syringe, she took a deep breath before aiming it at her father's vein and injecting it.
She watched the clear liquid enter his body as she pulled out the needle and put it back Into her pocket.
"I hope this works..."
Fang Xi muttered to herself as she sat down on the chair and started peeling an apple while her brother slumped down on the couch.
...
I stood In the dark alley as I glanced around making sure there weren't any witnesses as I did I spotted a fire escape ladder attached to the 20-story building In front of me.
With an effortless jump, I leaped onto the ladder, my hands gripping the cold metal as I began to climb.
I reached the roof and paused for a moment to admire the city sprawled out beneath me, a tapestry of lights and shadows.
Having enough of It I took out my smart assault rifle from Hopes Inventory, the familiar weight comforting in my hands.
Moving to a prone position, I looked through my camera scope which calibrated Itself to the precise specifications needed for this long-range shot.
Through the scope, I scanned the vila a kilometer away until I spotted him, the c*nt responsible for the hit.
He stood in front of a bed where his bandaged son lay, another man beside him, likely reporting the outcome of their endeavor.
"You reap what you saw"
I muttered to myself.
I took a deep breath, steadying my aim. My finger moved to the selector switch, setting it to single-shot mode. With precision and calm, I gently squeezed the trigger. The 30mm rocket-propelled round exited the rifle's fire suppressor, causing a thunderous sound to reverberate through the night.
Before the round hit the first target, I had already switched my aim to the bandaged son.
Gently releasing the trigger until I heard the click, I squeezed it again. Another round fired, and through my scope, I watched as two heads exploded like watermelons from one kilometer away, covering the remaining man in biomatter.
The second man who seemed to be favored by the g*ddess of luck was left unscathed by the rounds except for the occasional shrapnel that cut open and burned his cheeks and forehead and parts of his body, but I could see the shock had shut down his brain. He stood there, frozen, his mind unable to process the sudden violence.
"Hmmm lucky bastard..."
I mused to myself as I calmly stored the spent casings and my rifle, and after that slid down the fire ladder like a firefighter.
The rush of air past me was a brief, exhilarating moment of freedom before I hit the ground. I melted into the shadows of the night, blending seamlessly with the darkness.
Around me, lights flickered on in nearby apartments. Passersby stood in confusion, shock, and fear at the two loud gunshots that had pierced the quiet night.
"Did you hear that?"
A woman whispered to her companion.
"Yeah, sounded like gunshots,"
The man replied, his eyes wide with worry.
"Someone should call the police,"
Another voice said, panic edging their words.
"Look, up there! Was that a flash on the roof?"
Ignoring the murmurs of fear and confusion around me, I continued to walk, my pace unhurried.
Each step carried me further from the scene, the night enveloping me in its embrace. The streets were my ally, the darkness my cover.
"Lilith,"
I said quietly, my voice barely a whisper.
"Any sign of pursuit?"
None, sir.
Lilith's voice responded in my HUD.
The local authorities are still trying to figure out what happened.
"Good,"
I muttered, my eyes scanning the shadows for any sign of danger.
"Keep me updated also make sure that whatever Is left of that family has no power to Investigate and retaliate"
As I walked, I thought about what I did I'd just taken dozens of lives, and ended them with precise, cold efficiency. But I didn't feel a thing It was the same as accidentally stepping onto ants these men had crossed a line, and they had paid the price.
...
The scene outside the nightclub was one of chaos and confusion. Police cars with flashing lights had cordoned off the area, and uniformed officers were trying to control the crowd of onlookers. Yellow crime scene tape flapped in the breeze, marking off the perimeter.
Detective Li Na stepped out of her unmarked car, her partner, Detective Zhang Wei, followed close behind. They had been called in to handle what was clearly a high-profile case.
"J*sus C*rist"
Li Na muttered as she took in the scene. The entrance to the nightclub was shattered, blood smeared across the sidewalk.
"What the hell happened here?"
