On the dimly lit streets at night, under the faint glow of the streetlights,
Celestine feigned ease as she looked at the tall buildings in the distance and slowly said, "Charles, this is far enough. You can head back now."
"Isn't there still a bit of distance left? I'll walk you to the entrance." Charles replied.
Celestine shook her head. She focused on Charles's somewhat blurred face under the streetlight and said:
"I want to watch you walk away, that way, I can see you a little longer."
Charles was taken aback. He gazed at the girl before him with a complex expression. Even though she was doing her best to suppress her emotions and appeared very composed,
But Charles could still sense Celestine's emotions.
Without a moment's hesitation, Charles opened his arms and pulled her into an embrace, softly whispering in her ear:
