"Do you think we're ready?" I asked the three of them in my office.
"Bones has been busting his ass," Lotto said. "He's ready. Heathens Hollow hasn't seen a fighter like this before. It's going to be quite the show."
"The competition is going to be fierce," Frankie cut in. "We need to make sure we're all on top of our game. A lot of money is going to be involved. Everything we have."
"Will Nero be there?" I asked Bones.
"Fuck Nero. There's nothing he can do," Bones said.
"Well that's not true," Lotto interrupted. "But if he tries, we handle it."
"We'll watch each other's backs," Frankie said. "All of us."
"By the time the night is over, everyone will know that we're a team that can't be beat," I added, standing up from my chair. "But right now I think we need to celebrate all our hard work. And I also think we could use a distraction."
