Chapter 6 - Golden Core Middle

After the short torture session with Lin Xuan, Cui Wen carried his unconscious body outside his home. After approaching the walls and gates in the distance to descend the mountain he jumped on the wall.

Cui Wen then decapitated Lin Xuans head and tossed him down the mountain to roll. Eventually Lin Xuans body landed on some steps in the distance blood spilling on the white pure steps.

"There we go." Cui Wen watched and nodded in satisfaction seeing Lin Xuans body dead.

Altough he had never killed before Cui Wen was in a cultivation world, who gives a shit if a servant dies. The strong rule, the weak suffer.

"Finally I can go cultivate in peace." Cui Wen lastly said leaving the walls encompassing his large courtyard.

He walked back to his now destroyed cultivation abode. The mountain was pierced by the tribulation lightning destroying everything.

Cui Wen didn't really care, he was going to the academy anyways.

So he sat down on his now dusty cultivation pillow and tossed the pill into his mouth. Swallowing it he felt a surge of Qi encompassing him. Guiding all the Qi into his newly made Violet core compressing and refining it. The amount of Qi from the small pill was unbelievable.

Feeling the choice to breakthrough again Cui Wen decided to go for it. He had a very stable foundation and using the Seven Thunder Gathering cultivation method it was relatively easy.

In the Great Xi Land cultivation techniques are plenty however it relies on the person's comprehension and talent to unleash the methods full ability.

For example the Seven Thunder Gathering technique was made for lightning Spirit Root users. However not many have succeeded in cultivating it.

The Seven Thunder Gathering technique has been around for several thousand years but it suddenly stops at the Soul Palace stage where the user has to evolve it or gain enlightenment. The technique does grant the user abilities to cast seven lightning bolts after mastering it.

Cui Wen is able to cast 4 lightning bolts in battle currently. While also utilizing the lightning to boost himself and or add lightning to his attacks.

Obviously not anyone can do this, it is purely due to his comprehension and talent.

While spirit roots are important for techniques it is also looked down upon if a cultivator has many. Many claim it slows down cultivation speed but it does allow for one to master many more abilities in the future.

Of course if you are a genius like Cui Wen it won't really be a problem.

Eventually after 10-20 minutes Cui Wen finished the breakthrough. His Violet core expanded and grew even denser.

"Phew." Cui Wen muttered deciding to consolidate his cultivation base for the next few days.

..

"Elder Han it seems Young Master Wen has killed the spy." The anonymous person spoke through the windows.

"Increase the surveillance, also add a few more guards in secret." Elder Han responded while writing something.

"Understood." The anonymous figure cupped her hands and left.

"My grandson, It might seem I have given up on you however that is not the case. " Elder Han said staring through the windows.

..

The days went by quickly as the rumors of Young Master Wen torturing and killing his servant surfaced in the Cui Clan manor. No new servant was assigned from the Lin Family.

Cui Wen finally consolidated his cultivation base after around 10 days of meditation. He decided it was time to go to the academy.

Stepping out of his abode, Cui Wen walked to the Cui Clan enforcement hall to inform the Elders.

"Young Master." The two guards bowed and cupped their hands.

The enforcement hall was quite large and filled with miscellaneous people. A few Cui Clan members reported stuff while servants attended.

Cui Wen walked directly to the top floor ignoring any warnings from the guards. On this floor resided the enforcement hall Elder. A person in the Cui Clan with much power, he can basically influence 30% of the Clan alone.

Cui Wen continued walking admiring the various artworks on the walls. The hall looked like a medieval mansion. Finally Cui Wen stopped infront of the large door it looked more like a gate to a boss.

He knocked three times before a voice interrupted his thoughts.

"Come in." A deep male voice sounded.

Cui Wen opened the door with his Qi, it must have weighed at least over 300 kilograms.

"This Junior greets senior." Cui Wen said cupping his fists to the almost sage like man.

"What do you need?" The Elder paid no mind to Cui Wens status and went straight to the point.

"This Junior needs a Royal Xi Academy transfer admission." Cui Wen said calmly.

There was a slight silence before the Elder opened his eyes inspecting the youth.

"Not bad for your age however you will need to do me a favor." The Elder then said staring at Cui Wen.

"This Junior will do whatever it takes to repay seniors favor!" Cui Wen responded quickly.

He didn't like owing others favors however this was his only choice. It is widely known that the Enforcement hall is a neutral force in the Cui Clan.

"Good, just protect my disciple in the Academy." The Elder continued.

"He has a disciple?" Cui Wen thought as this was undisclosed information.

"No worries Senior, I will do my best." Cui Wen responded confidently with ease.

"Here. My disciple is Zhou Jing." The Elder replied and threw a letter towards Cui Wen.

"Farewell, Senior." Cui Wen said his goodbye and left the office.

On the way out he read the letter. It was a fairly simple transfer request. Cui Wen had been transferred to the Qilin class, it had about 150 1st years in it.

Dragon class, Phoenix class, Tiger class, Tortoise class and the Qilin class. A total of 150 people in each that's about 750 1st years. There are a total of 10 grades so that's 7500 people in Royal Xi Academy alone.

"This is gonna be fun." Cui Wen was extremely excited at finally fighting others.

Cui Wen could go whenever he wanted so it was set for tomorrow. But first he needed a glorious entry to the academy. There are a lot of young masters and he waz to lazy to simply fight them all or prove his so called worth

Therefore Cui Wen grabbed the talisman in his spatial ringed and infused some Qi.

"Hello Cui Yin?" Cui Wen asked into the the talisman.

"Senior Brother how can I help?" A response came after a few seconds.

"Tell me how many Cui members and vassals are in the Royal Xi Academy." Cui Wen asked.

"This is simple Young Master, hmm.. there seems to be about 59 Cui Clan members in the academy and about 40 are from the vassal families." Cui Yin said reading the book in front of him.

"Tell them to gather at the entrance tomorrow, if someone doesn't show up I will punish them myself. However if they are outside the academy it doesn't really matter" Cui Wen responded in an almost ordering tone.

"Uh.. Senior Brother are you sure about this?" Cui Yin asked in an unsure voice.

"Just do as I say, it's time to see who will actually deserve my friendship." Cui Wen replied confidently.

Cui Wen would be wasting no time immediately establishing a foothold in the academy. Whoever dares to not show up will be beaten by him.

"Understood, Senior Brother." Cui Yin replied with a sigh.

"Goodbye, Junior Brother." Cui Wen said lastly.

Cui Wen will now be addressing Cui Yin as Junior Brother showing respect.

..

Cui Yin sighed at the future problems coming to his Senior Brother.

Afterwards he grabbed a talisman from his ring to communicate.

"Hello? Senior Brother?" Cui Yin asked in uncertainty.

An awkward silence prevailed in Cui Yins room.

"Junior Brother it has been a while." An older however still young voice sounded from the talisman.

"Senior Brother Wang, Young Master Wen has given me an order. He says to gather all the Cui Clan members and vassal families for tomorrow at the gate..." Cui Yin continued concerned of what he said.

"... HAHAHA! Young Master Wen sure is crazy!" Senior Brother Wang started laughing thinking of the reactions of the Cui Family geniuses.

"That so called genius training maniac is coming tomorrow? Hohoho.." Cui Wang continued laughing in his head.

Cui Wang valued strength, whoever is stronger he will follow with utmost respect.

"Don't fret Junior Brother I shall make sure they come." Cui Wang finally said before telling his goodbye.

Cui Wang stretched his limbs before standing up. He was the well known current genius of the Cui Clan members of Royal Xi Academy but he knew his limits. He knew what Cui Wen was capable of, awakening his Cui Illusionary tower and reaching Golden Core at 15. He was the genius, no the monster.

And recently the rumors that Cui Wen tortured and killed his servant surfaced. Cui Wang would take no chances.

"Tsk, tsk.." Cui Wang envisioned the state of Cui Wang beating his fellow geniuses.

He then grabbed a custom made relic from the Royal Xi Academy capable of sending messages like a text chat.

"Gather tomorrow at the gate with your lackeys, no exceptions or you will most likely die." Cui Wang wrote and sent the messages to the 18 other Cui Clan members.

Ding..!

Cui Yan received a message.

"Huh.. Senior Brother Wang wants us to gather? Or we will die!?" The gorgeous young lady shouted in shock.

"If it's Senior Brother Wang it must be serious.." She thought to herself notifying her subordinates.

Cui Yang received a message..

"Tsk, who is it at this time." The man grabbed his round relic and checked.

"Brother Wang? Gather!? Does he think we can be ordered around still!" Cui Yang exclaimed in a fit of anger before rethinking his decision.

"I suppose I can go, however only this one time!" He tried convincing himself, however deep down he would always trust Brother Wang.

Cui Mei received a message..

Not many would send a message to her due to the bad combat capabilites she had. However Cui Mei is a talented alchemist wanted by hundreds.

"Senior Brother Wang?" She thought seeing the message. It had been a long time since he had contacted her.

However he was the strongest out of them and she would listen accordingly.

Ding..

Ding...

Ding..

The many Cui geniuses received the same message to gather at the gate and many complied apart from the few outside the Academy.

In the meantime Cui Wen had decided to check out his walking closet of drip.
