They hated themselves for abandoning her like this when she needed their help the most, they hated themselves for being weak and cowardly but it's the only way to survive now. People who always talk about being heroes and they talk about how they are going to save everyone are usually the most cowardly and disgusting bunch who only talk about these things to boost their ego.
In face of fear even strong ones also run away to preserve their life instead of saving the weak and helpless. As they were running suddenly the world became dark again because of that while turning to his left side James collided with container cargo ahead of him.
"Oouch." James rubs his forehead with his hand.
"After turning left we would arrive at where the underground storage room door is." James said to everyone, after saying that James turned to the left side and they arrived at the place he was talking but it was every other place in the container terminal.
There was no door anything like that, only container cargo stacked together on both sides of the road.
"James, where is that underground storage room door you were talking about." Yui asked him with clear frustration in her voice.
"Don't be rash, that door is inside the container, it won't be outside like any other door, think about it." James is clearly scared and frightened now after seeing those nightmare creatures and fireballs.
It wasn't something that would exist in reality but in fantasy stories and in anime, manga and light novels.
It's the horror beyond his imagination, he was refusing Yui words from the beginning about the nightmare realm, he thought she was crazy in the head that's why she made up these weird stories but now everything she said turned out to be true.
This isn't the place he knows about this is a completely different world compared to their chthon planet. James started to look at every container door near him with a torch light in his hand then he would move on to the next one with an anxious expression on his face.
"You sure know there's something like an underground storage room here, you are not lying to us right?" Yui asked once again as this eerie feeling kept growing inside her ever since she saw that fireball in the sky.
Now, that fireball has disappeared, which means whoever it was targeted at will be in great danger but the most scary part is who's the target of this attack that would need to create such a huge fireball in the first place.
"James, don't hide anything from us, tell us in detail or anything that you are looking for the door we may be able to help you." Noah said to James as he isn't feeling good about their current situation.
"Look for the container door with SE 1 BA 2536 written on it, that's the container cargo with an underground storage room." James said in a hurry as soon as they find the door is safer they would be, James' whole clothes are now covered in his sweat as anxiety keeps growing inside him. Noah and Yui start to look for the container cargo door with SE 1 BA 2536.
"I found the door, I found the door." Noah said with a joyous expression on his face that it only lasted for a few seconds as they now had to open the door to check whether it really had a door or not.
Noah found the container cargo door with SE 1 BA 2536 to the opposite side of container cargo of James. Yui ran back to Noah's side and looked at the container cargo door and it indeed had SE 1 BA 2536 written on it. James heard Noah's voice but he couldn't see him even though he was holding a torch light in darkness.
James' vision is limited compared to Noah and Yui in darkness as he is a normal mortal, Yui ran back to James and the girls and walked towards Noah together with them. James looked at the container cargo door behind Noah, it was indeed the same SE 1 BA 2536 written on it.
James stood in front of the door and first lifted the latches above the handles and pulled the both handles at the same time to release the door. The right side door is opened now and he did the same with the left door and opened it up.
Now, the container cargo door is open. Inside the container cargo is completely empty and because of that Yui and Noah could see the one handle of the trapdoor on the floor.
All of them entered inside the container cargo, James opened up the first trapdoor but the second one beneath was made of heavy metal and wouldn't bulge no-matter how much strength he used and even together with Noah help both of them couldn't open it.
"Hurry up, both of you." Yui said with an anxious expression on her face as she worried and feared about something more scary than skinnomore.
"We are doing our best." Both James and Noah said at the same time.
Exactly at this moment they heard a huge explosion sound, the sound was almost comparable to a nuclear explosion as if someone really used a nuclear bomb, it almost felt like their eardrum was going to burst open now.
It wasn't the end soon after the explosion sound came shockwave as the fireball explode in sea and explosion shockwave came like worst nightmare for them it destroys the all the windows of office and the container terminal become chaotic as shockwave pushed and throw the container cargo from their place
Sea water washed over the sea port and container cargo terminal along with nightmare realm sea creatures as explosion shockwaves passed through the sea water but that wasn't the worst part. The worst part was the huge wave coming towards the sea port because of an explosion in the sea but a few seconds after the explosion sound came high piercing shrill cry from the sea.
The shrill cry was so terrifying that everyone who heard it start to lose their vision and lost their consciousness they all dreamed about terrifying creature made of tentacles and pus living in the deepest part of the ocean, this creature don't have any eyes or mouth just tentacles with rotten flesh and scarlet blood flowing out of its suction cup with pus.

James slowly opened his eyes and looked around his surroundings, he saw Yui and Noah sitting on the floor in front of him.
They seemed to be inside the room, he looked around starting to get a familiar feeling from the room and he remembered this is the same underground storage room he was talking about to everyone but the question remains who opened the door?
One by one other girls also wake up and look around the unfamiliar place, the whole room giving off gloomy vibes as the whole storage room is dark and the only source of light is torch light.
No one knows how much time has passed after they heard a high piercing shrill cry from the sea. James looks at Noah who's condition seems to be worse than before as there's new bloody claw marks on his chest.
"Noah, how long have I been unconscious?" James asked as his head was still hurting and he could vividly imagine the things that he saw inside his dream while he was unconscious.
The existence beyond human comprehension that lives in the deep ocean of nightmare realm ready to devour its prey the moment it gets marked by it, James shook his head to forget about these things as there are more urgent matters to focus on.
"I don't know maybe its hour or something." Noah absentmindedly thinks about other things but can't talk about that to anyone.
"How did you guys bring us here?" James asked as he still remembered he and Noah couldn't open the trapdoor but now they are here and before he lost his consciousness he remembered the high Piercing shrill cry.
The reason behind the lost consciousness was this shrill cry, whatever this shrill cry came out of isn't something he ever wanted to see or heard again in his life but he also feels like the monster he saw in his dream is behind that shrill cry.
He doesn't even want to remember that dream anymore, looking at other girls' faces they seem to share the same opinion as him.
"It's obvious by carrying you all here." Yui answered James' question as that's the most normal thing to do.
"Me and Noah both of us carried you all one by one here in the underground storage room." Yui said as she looked at all of them.
"What really happened out there, when we lost our consciousness and both of you seemed to be exhausted and Noah seems to have the worst injuries here." One of the girls said even though none of them talked or made any kind of noise after they left the container cargo where they first caged, now they felt a little bit more safe compared to before and took a look around the room.
They saw one of the girls missing from the group before they lost consciousness. She was together with them but now they opened their eyes and they couldn't find her. They didn't make obvious about this as they know this isn't their place to question three of them from the way it looks only Noah and Yui knows what happened to her but they didn't asked both of them as all other girls except for Yui shared same unspoken agreement that they won't ask such questions.
The place seems similar but it is a completely different world and they know being alive or this long is the best case scenario for them.
