Flynn frowned as he looked at the physical examination report in his hands. During the last opening ceremony, everyone was caught off guard when his majesty experienced an unexpected mental power disorder.
Flynn was unable to go there, because his new research had reached a critical breakthrough.
Fortunately, by the time his Majesty returned to the Capital planet, his work was almost complete.
Breathing a sigh of relief, he went to find his majesty, with the report clutched firmly in his hands.
In his customary black ensemble, Arwan was engrossed in the documents, exuding a sense of cold aloofness that seemed to push away any warmth from the room. He didn't bother to glance up when Flynn entered the room.
Flynn took a moment to inform him about his new progress in research.
As Flynn's report came to a conclusion, Arwan nodded nonchalantly and mentioned, "You can go to Sebastian for all the materials that you need."
"Alright, your majesty…."
"Is there anything else?" Noticing that he still hadn't left yet, Arwan questioned him.
"Your Majesty, I just checked your physical examination report. Your mental power has shown great fluctuations, if this goes on then the situation might…. get out of control…" In fact, he wanted to say that the situation was already out of control. But looking at the calm and peaceful man, it was hard to believe that he was on the verge of going berserk.
Arwan obviously understood his health better than anyone else, he could already sense what Flynn was about to say.
"Your Majesty, I think it is time to have someone by your side. If not for yourself, than at least for the Empire. I think there are many good candidates with high pheromone compatibility with y-"
Before he could complete his sentence, he was interrupted by Arwan's cold voice, "Dr. Flynn, looking for my partner should not be a part of your job. What you need to do is to focus on your research. This time, I will not say anything, but next time I will not tolerate it."
Flynn couldn't help but shudder when he met those inhuman purple eyes. Arwan loathed nothing more than having someone else make decisions for him. As his subordinate, Flynn was obviously aware of it but he still wanted to take a chance. Unfortunately, his efforts were useless.
In fact, this has caused a lot of dissatisfaction among Aristocrats. A lack of qualified partner means, there will be no hier to inherit the throne, other than this there is no one who can control Arwan's mental power disorder.
But Arwan has never cared about others' opinion, so no matter how much the Aristocrats try to pressue him, he has never accepted a companion.
Realizing that persuading his majesty was futile, Flynn had no choice but to take his leave.
Arwan was the only one left inside the the study room, he was still staring at the virtual screen in front of him. Rather than delving into significant documents, he was actually looking at Imanuel's picture that was sent by his subordinates.
In the picture, the exceptionally beautiful young man was standing gracefully under a tree. Arwan's hand uncontrollably reached out toward the screen, his fingers traced the elegant silhouette of the young man.
In fact, Arwan is a person with few emotions. It is not an exaggeration to say that he is cold blooded. Throughout the years, there have been many beautiful men and women who have tried to win his heart, some were sincere while others were just after his power. However, they have never been able to attract his attention.
For the first time, however, he finds himself intrigued by someone. His initial attraction stemmed from a face so stunning it seemed almost unreal, it just fit all his aesthetic points which even he didn't know. But as he got to know about him through his subordinates, he felt that this young man has many mysteries that make him even more curious.
Arwan's dark violet pupils flashed as he looked at the young man, "Imanuel…I hope you won't disappoint me…"
….
Imanuel, who was still talking with Zereth, felt a chill run down his spine. He couldn't help but shudder.
Zereth noticed his reaction and asked with concern, "What's wrong!?"
Imanuel had a strange feeling, as if he was being targeted by a large beast, but his face did not show anything, "It's nothing…"
"Anyways, why did you come here today!?"
As soon as he heard this, Zereth's face became sullen, "Tsk! You really can't trust starnet…"
Imanuel raised his beautiful eyebrow after hearing this,"Why!?"
"Do you know that Edan who recently become popular becuase of his identity as an angel, he actually turned out to be a green tea!!" Zereth was fuming with anger.
"What did he do!?" Imanuel was not so surprised after hearing this, after all, he has lived with Edan for nearly four years. So, he was well aware about Edan's real character.
"Don't even ask about him!! Today I was asked by the dean to teach the healing class, but that bitch actually said that I was not qualified to teach them!!" Zereth was so angry that he didn't even hesitate to curse.
"Did he really say that?" According to Imanuel's understanding of Edan, he would never say something like that so bluntly.
Zereth sneered when he heard this, "Heh! How could he say it openly!? Wouldn't this break his damn innocent and delicate omega persona!?"
Saying this he recounted the incident word by word to Imanuel. Just a few hours ago, the Dean of the Academy asked him to provide basic training to the healing class students, because the original trainer had to leave due to an emergency.
In the primary programs where Mental power plays the most important roles, students are divided according to their mental power level. Healing class is also one of them.
Healers are among the most respected professions in the universe, and even a C-level healer is treated with considerable respect and care.
As a rare S level healer with more than 20 years of experience, he is more than qualified to teach students of same level. In the end, he acquiesced to the Dean's request.
