Chapter 8 - His Majesty Devious Plan To Keep His Daughter Within His Grasps

Yvana's golden yellow eyes widened at the regal presence standing before her in the prison cell, where she and her daughter stood, their hands restrained by old, rusty

metal cuffs. She was aware of the profound affection he held for her, surpassing even that for the Empress.

" Please don't take my baby away from me! You CAN help us escape from this wretched place and I solely swear on my life that I will not breath a word of this to anyone else! And, I will even write letters!"

"My Lady Yvana, you are well acquainted with my steadfast affection for you. Nevertheless, I struggle to pardon the absence of disclosure regarding the birth of our child throughout our years together," His Majesty conveyed, tinged with a hint of disappointment.

"That was my mistake, and I pledge to improve. Kindly speak favorably of me to her majesty, so she may grant my release from this confinement. Perhaps then, we could form a family unit comprising only you, me, and our daughter, Tuille," Yvana remarked wittily, locking eyes with him. While she harbored no actual desire to disclose the existence of their child or to establish a family, her current desperation led her to express anything that might secure her freedom."I may have never expressed it verbally, but I adore you as I am merely a humble servant, your majesty.

He paused, gazing at her with a sympathetic expression. While he lacked the authority to halt her execution, he could still protect their daughter. It pained him to see the servant facing such a grim destiny. Despite their contrasting backgrounds, he was convinced of their deep affection for each other. Sensing the guards' scrutiny, he had to proceed cautiously.

"It is time to confront the repercussions of your actions. Our daughter is entitled to a superior life, one that I can provide for her within the palace. As a humble servant, what recourse do you possess? Your sole alternative is to renounce your rights."

The young child appeared puzzled by her mother's conversation with the unfamiliar individual. Observing them both, she tilted her head, blinked, and inquired,"Mama, who's that man? Is that someone you know?"

Yvana turned towards her child with a profound sense of sorrow. Despite the weight on her heart, she drew a deep breath and summoned a courageous smile for her young daughter. Acknowledging the truth in the father's words, she realized her inability to adequately care for her child or provide her with even a single proper meal.

What kind of life would that be for my baby? She deserve the world and I can barely clothe her.

" Oh, my sweet baby girl." "Yvanna spoke in a tone that concealed her concern from her daughter. "Do you remember when I said that you didn't have a papa?"

"Yes, mama, but it's all good. You told me I'm unique, I don't need a papa. You said I'm a love-child, born from your heart alone." The innocent child replied, blissfully unaware of the seriousness of the situation.

"This man standing here is your papa, ready to take you since you've been such a good girl. Mama told a bad a story and hid the truth I am sorry, and I hope you can forgive me."

" I forgive you, Mama." Tuille spoke with a radiant and captivating smile.

I do not deserve you as my daughter

" I love you so so much, Tul-Tul! Please don't ever forget that"

" Um okay? I love you too, mama."

Her daughter's eyes sparkled with excitement, yet Yvana sensed the underlying fear. Placing her hand on her daughter's shoulder, she said, "Remember to behave well, alright? Your Papa will look after you. I'll be close by and will come to see you soon. We'll only be apart for a short while." However, it was a deception; she would remain confined in this prison until her execution day.

" I will be fine, mama. I want to spend time with my papa. I am a big girl now!"

With tears welling in her eyes, Yvana observed her daughter holding Papa's hand and walking away. Despite knowing it was necessary, it didn't lessen the pain. She vowed to stay strong for her daughter, regardless. As she stood there, a tight knot formed in her chest, consumed by worry about her child's future. The idea that her child might face more challenges due to being the King's illegitimate daughter weighed heavily on her. It felt almost suffocating, unable to shake off the overwhelming sense of dread.

"Your Majesty, the King is waiting outside your chamber door, seeking your immediate attention for an urgent matter of great importance. Kindly inform me of your preferred course of action."

In the tender embrace of dawn's first whispers, the her majesty serene slumber was gently roused by a soft rap on her chamber door, a loyal guardian seeking audience. Stirring from her rest, a sense of unease crept upon her like a shadow. Seeking solace, she sought refuge in a cup of warm chamomile tea, its aroma a balm for her weary soul. With each sip, tranquility unfurled within her, a gentle tide washing away the waves of unrest that troubled her regal heart.

As the tea wove its spell of tranquility, the her thoughts wandered to recent happenings. Her once meticulously coiffed hair now cascaded untamed, while her once luminous gaze bore the weight of sorrow. Perched before her ornate looking glass, she studied her reflection, smoothing the folds of her garments and marveling at the delicate intricacies of her adornments. Though her demeanor remained poised, her heart carried the heavy burden of disillusionment and deceit. Yvana, a confidante of utmost trust, had woven a tapestry of betrayal, leaving the her majesty wounded to her core.

He couldn't possibly know about the child; I was extremely discreet. I will have them both executed before he could ever find out. I wonder what could this be about.

" Grant him access to enter."

Senerele's realm unfolds under the shimmering veil of a matriarchal monarchy, a rare tapestry where the her majesty scepter weaves threads of absolute sovereignty. Her reign, a symphony of balance and fairness, orchestrates a harmonious melody across the lands. This visionary paradigm of governance has sculpted a realm of tranquility and abundance, where each soul blossoms in the fertile soil of prosperity.

King Julian wove a devious shield to safeguard his daughter's existence within the realm, yet the price was steep.

He presented a letter to her majesty, declaring, "I have a letter from the council for you." He further expressed, "Before I present it, I must extend my apologies for not having had the opportunity to see you all week due to prior engagements." As she accepted the envelope, a sense of unease washed over her. Deliberately, she perused each sentence, endeavoring to unravel the message contained within.

" WHAT THE MEANING OF THIS JULIAN! WHAT ON THE EARTH HAVE YOU DONE?"

" Since you cannot produce an heir, I took the initiative to impregnate one of your servants. To our surprise, she will become the future of this nation. Just think aboutyour position. You will lose everything you worked so hard for!"

The sentinels and attendants murmured softly.

"SILENCE!"

At that moment, she observed a young child standing behind Julian, clutching his hand, visibly frightened.

" HAVE YOU LOST YOUR FUCKING MIND JULIAN?" She laughed hysterically.

Tuille found herself whisked into a cramped alcove as the entrance snapped shut. Amidst a shiver of fear, she shut her eyes, delving into the treasury of cherished moments shared with her mother - frolicking through sun-kissed meadows, their laughter harmonizing with the breeze.

Julian walked by the room where his daughter was located but chose not to enter to offer solace, as he was apprehensive about upsetting the her majesty and potentially incurring her displeasure.

The young child was suddenly filled with unease and fear. She covered her ears instinctively as unfamiliar voices whispered in her head, leading to confusion and anxiety. Surrounded by what seemed like multiple pairs of eyes staring at her, terror gripped her heart. The joyful memories of her mother began to fade as she struggled to understand the situation. In a panic, she let out a piercing scream, hoping it was just a bad dream. The picture shattered, glass shards fell, revealing a reflection of her memories with her mother before darkness took over.

As her eyes fluttered open like delicate butterfly wings, she found herself nestled within a tiny, musty closet, suffocated by its oppressive confines and a scent of decay lingering in the air. Nestling against the wall, she sensed the coarse touch of the wooden panels and the clammy dampness seeping into her garments. Enfolding her knees close, she embraced the chill that had crept into her very core, her mind a fog of confusion as she sought to unveil the mystery shrouding her presence in this dim, desolate chamber.

Seated in the shadows, her thoughts drifted towards her mother, the epitome of solace and comfort. She fondly reminisced about her mother's warm embraces, gentle touch, and reassuring words. Memories of her childhood home flashed through her mind, a haven filled with laughter and happiness. Longing to be enveloped once more in that sanctuary of affection and warmth, far removed from the somber confines of this cold, dim closet.

There was a servant who had blonde hair styled in two low pigtails and blue eyes. This servant had a special bond with Yvana. Feeling compassion for Yvana's daughter, she would discreetly bring her food from the kitchen. Whenever unobserved, she would open the door and leave a tray of food that was prepared three nights prior.

" Can you please take me to see my mama?"

The servant bowed her head and swiftly shut the door upon hearing the sorrow in the young girl's voice.

-

Who's that sneaky little rascal?" A boy, barely eight, with eyes as mysterious as a purple storm and as lively as emerald gems. He dodged the guards with ninja-like skill until he laid eyes on a girl with cute pigtails. "Wow, she's a stunner," he blurted out, cheeks turning as red as a ripe apple. Spotting his mom approaching, he bolted, leaving the servants bowing to the prince's aura.
