Chapter 413 - Mirror Flower, Water Moon

What is happiness? Perhaps different people have different answers, but at this moment, Kaguya's happiness was finally being able to eat a full meal. Even if someone were to offer her mountains of gold and silver in exchange, she wouldn't agree. She hadn't felt the sensation of being hungry in a long time, and that burning, maddening feeling could drive anyone insane.

On that note, Kaguya wondered if it was because she was starving, but the food at the Tohsaka household was unexpectedly delicious, leaving her savoring it long after she finished.

For her, another achievement was successfully infiltrating the Tohsaka family, a family that played a key role throughout the entire Fate series. Despite Tokiomi Tohsaka's arrogance, which led him to overlook his disciple Kotomine Kirei and Gilgamesh's betrayal, ultimately resulting in his own death at Kirei's hands due to his carelessness, it couldn't be denied that Tokiomi was a talented individual.

Whether it was Tokiomi, Kirei, or even the soon-to-be-summoned Gilgamesh, they were all useful tools for Kaguya—and also objects to be toyed with. Their shared trait was overconfidence, to the point of hubris.

Tokiomi, for example, ended up being killed by Kirei because of his overconfidence. As for Kirei, in the Unlimited Blade Works route, he was stabbed to death by a barely surviving Lancer—an ignominious end. And Gilgamesh? Well, he could have easily used Ea, his sword of rupture, to obliterate Emiya Shirou, but due to his arrogance and refusal to seriously engage someone he deemed an "imitation," he ended up losing his arm and meeting a humiliating defeat.

To Kaguya, such people, though powerful, had critical flaws, so they weren't worth worrying about too much.

What Kaguya found even more intriguing was her newly acquired ability, which she named Mirror Flower, Water Moon. Even though she had only reached the first stage of projection, its power was already evident. Earlier, she had projected the Truth-Seeking Balls, and while their effectiveness still paled compared to the original, their power was still quite formidable. Moreover, Kaguya realized that not only could she project items from her own original form, but she could also project other people's items. In other words, she could replicate objects, somewhat similar to Unlimited Blade Works.

As for the second stage, physical manifestation, Kaguya was particularly envious. At that stage, she could create real objects indistinguishable from the originals. Don't underestimate this—imagine if she could replicate Saber's Excalibur, the Sword of Promised Victory, or Gilgamesh's Ea. How broken would that be? She'd essentially be able to fully replicate other people's weapons, nearly identical to the originals.

A left hand wielding Ea, and a right hand holding Excalibur—dual-wielding EX attacks. Just thinking about it gave her chills of excitement.

Of course, that was just Kaguya fantasizing. The most obvious problem was her current magic reserves. With her current mana, there was no way she could sustain such powerful abilities. Plus, Kaguya wasn't interested in finding a Master to supply her with mana. If she were to find one, it would have to be someone powerful, like Tokiomi Tohsaka. But following him didn't seem safe at all—there was always the risk of being backstabbed. After all, the Command Seals would restrict her from disobeying a Master's orders, so it was a long road ahead.

But above all else, there was something else Kaguya cared about more...

Kaguya's lips curved into a faint smile as she spoke toward the distance, "Since you're here, why not come in?"

The door opened, and two small figures walked in. One had short, ear-length hair and a delicate face—none other than Matou Sakura. The other girl had twin tails, with silky hair flowing down both sides of her face, fair skin, and a soft, smooth complexion. She had a pair of beautiful, clear eyes.

If Kaguya had to guess, this should be Sakura's older sister, Tohsaka Rin.

"Hello," Rin greeted politely, acting like a little adult, "Sorry to bother you."

Sakura, standing beside her, also gave Kaguya a sweet smile.

"So, what brings you here?" Kaguya asked curiously, sitting up from the bed.

"Well..." Rin bowed slightly, her petite frame trembling a little, and she thanked Kaguya, "Thank you for saving my sister."

"Thank you so much. If it weren't for you..." Sakura's eyes were already starting to redden.

Had Kaguya not saved her, her fate would have been tragic.

"Oh, it was nothing. Actually, Sakura helped me too," Kaguya said with a gentle smile.

"Huh?" Sakura's large, beautiful eyes blinked in confusion.

"If you hadn't given me food, I probably would have starved to death," Kaguya added.

"It was just a piece of chocolate, it's nothing really," Sakura replied, waving her hands modestly.

"No matter what, you saved my sister." Rin puffed out her small chest with confidence, declaring, "If you need help with anything, just ask me!"

One had to admit, young Rin was truly adorable, especially with her serious, mature attitude—it was irresistibly cute. On the other hand, Sakura exuded a soft, delicate air that made you want to protect her.

"Well, if you're so grateful," Kaguya said, looking at the two delightful little girls in front of her. Without thinking, she blurted, "Well there is a way you can replay me."

"Ah?" Both Rin and Sakura blinked, exchanging puzzled glances, unsure of what she meant.

"You don't get it?" Kaguya's smile turned mischievous as she added, "Let me teach you properly."

For some reason, as Kaguya said that, both Rin and Sakura shivered involuntarily.

But just then, Kaguya seemed to sense something. Her delicate brows furrowed briefly before relaxing again. She smiled and said, "Sorry, I've been feeling tired lately, so I want to get some rest."

Although Kaguya had wanted to spend more time getting closer to these two charming lolis, it seemed there was an uninvited guest.

"Ah!" Rin quickly bowed, apologizing, "I'm sorry. We were so eager to thank you that we didn't realize how late it was. We'll leave you to rest. We can talk more tomorrow." She smiled, tilted her head cutely, and left with Sakura in tow.

After the two girls left, Kaguya turned her head with a playful grin. "Now that you're here, why don't you show yourself? Does the Tohsaka family have a habit of eavesdropping?"
