Chapter 386 - Actually, Pervert

Kaguya turned her head and saw a lively, youthful beauty approaching her.

The girl's appearance was like a finely sculpted figure, with fair, smooth skin that seemed as soft as porcelain. Her long hair, still damp from a recent bath, cascaded down her back, and her arched eyebrows framed a pair of sparkling eyes that shimmered like they were veiled in mist. Her nose was delicately upturned, and her lips were soft and pink. Beneath the tightly wrapped bath towel, her body was perfectly shaped, youthful curves exuding the vitality of a young girl.

"What are you staring at?"

A teasing voice snapped Kaguya out of her daze, and she quickly coughed, feeling a bit embarrassed. After all, she had always thought of her as a little sister.

"Um, just now..." Kaguya awkwardly scratched her head.

"Be honest, were you doing it on purpose?" Qiao Xiaoqing leaned in, humming softly with suspicion.

"Of course not!" Kaguya coughed again, trying to explain. "I had no idea the system would drop me in here. Something must have gone wrong."

"Really?" Qiao Xiaoqing raised her head, pouting slightly. "You must've planned this together."

"Planned it?" Kaguya was speechless. "Why don't you try conspiring with a machine and see how that works out?"

"It must've been premeditated." Qiao Xiaoqing blinked her pretty eyes, teasing.

"How could it be? I didn't know I'd be teleported here," Kaguya explained. "Besides, I've always seen you as my little sister. Why would I ever do something inappropriate?"

"Sister?" Qiao Xiaoqing smirked playfully. "Does a perverted big brother stare at his little sister's body like that?"

"That's impossible! You must have seen wrong!" Kaguya coughed again, trying to hide her discomfort.

"Really? Big brother, you're becoming less trustworthy," Qiao Xiaoqing leaned closer, and as the towel pressed against her, it shifted slightly, revealing a teasing glimpse of her cleavage. She giggled, "Tell me the truth—don't I look sexy?"

"Sexy? With a body as flat as an ironing board, what's there to be sexy about?" Kaguya turned her head away, forcing herself to lie.

"If I'm such a flat board, why couldn't you stop staring earlier?" Qiao Xiaoqing pouted, clearly displeased with Kaguya's response, but then burst into laughter. "Do you know? I was voted the school's beauty queen."

"Who voted for you? They must've had terrible eyesight. How could a little brat like you be a beauty queen? I bet all the voters were severely nearsighted." Kaguya feigned indifference.

"Such a liar," Qiao Xiaoqing reached out her fair arm, wrapping it around Kaguya's, but then suddenly paused as her eyes landed on Kaguya's figure.

"What's wrong?" Kaguya asked, noticing the soft warmth against her arm and feeling curious as Qiao Xiaoqing suddenly went silent.

"It's so disheartening," Qiao Xiaoqing sighed, her energy deflated.

"Disheartening? What are you talking about?" Kaguya asked, confused.

"My own brother has a better figure than me." Qiao Xiaoqing sighed as she looked at Kaguya, then glanced at herself, feeling dispirited.

"…"

To Kaguya's surprise, the hot spring she had been thrown into was part of Qiao Xiaoqing's villa. Kaguya couldn't help but feel speechless—just how big was her house?

However, when Kaguya asked about Qiao Xiaoqing's family, she dodged the question, making Kaguya even more curious. The heavily armed guards outside the villa were even more puzzling. It wasn't hard for wealthy people to buy a villa, and some could build even more luxurious ones, but being able to deploy a personal security force or military was a completely different matter.

Was she the daughter of some high-ranking official? Kaguya pondered.

Qiao Xiaoqing's villa was incredibly lavish, filled with every possible amenity. Her wardrobe was overflowing with clothes, many of which had only been worn once before being tossed aside, never to be touched again.

At least now, Kaguya had something to wear and didn't need to endure the embarrassment of that shirt and jean shorts anymore. Wearing those shorts, especially with her legs so exposed, left Kaguya feeling uncomfortable—at least with stockings and skirt, it felt like she was wearing something, even if they still left her feeling somewhat exposed.

Now, Kaguya wore a simple white t-shirt with delicate floral designs, exuding an understated elegance. Paired with light blue, faded jeans and blue-and-white sneakers, she looked fresh and refined. Her stunning appearance made her seem otherworldly, her beauty further accentuated by her attire.

However, most of the clothes she wore were Qiao Xiaoqing's, and since Kaguya was taller, the fit was a bit snug and slightly uncomfortable. But it only served to enhance Kaguya's curvy figure, which even made Qiao Xiaoqing feel a bit envious.

"How do I look?" Kaguya spun around in front of the mirror, asking.

"Not bad," Qiao Xiaoqing gave her a once-over, nodding, her voice dragging out with amusement, "but…"

"But what?" Kaguya turned back, curious.

"But I don't think I'll ever go shopping with you again," Qiao Xiaoqing said with a pout.

"Why not?" Kaguya looked down at herself, puzzled. "Is there something wrong?"

"If we go out together, everyone will be looking at you! How am I supposed to find a boyfriend like that?" Qiao Xiaoqing grumbled.

"Don't be silly. You're so pretty; there's no way you won't find a boyfriend. And besides," Kaguya's mouth twitched slightly, "you think I enjoy being stared at?"

"Who knows?" Qiao Xiaoqing shrugged. "For all I know, you might look all proper on the outside, but inside, you're just a closet pervert."

"…"

At that moment, Kaguya's brows furrowed, and she turned to gaze at the distant, clear blue sky.

A streak of bright light, like a shooting star, flashed across the horizon, leaving a long trail in its wake.
