Chapter 362 - How Should I Toy With You?

Syura turned his head and looked at the girl in front of him, his eyes widening for a moment before he let out a sigh of relief. With a slight smirk, he said, "I was wondering who it could be, but it turns out it's just you, little girl."

The girl before him had twin pink ponytails tied with beautiful pink accessories. Her skin was fair, her face delicate and charming, and her large eyes sparkled with an enchanting glow. She had a slender figure, dressed in a simple yet elegant pink dress, and wore matching pink shoes. This girl was none other than Mine.

"Who did you think it was?" Mine sneered, curling her lips in disdain. "Were you thinking about that princess? Seems like the minister's son isn't much either, shaking in fear. Then again, as the descendant of a disgusting fly, you're just a revolting maggot at best."

"How dare you speak to me like that!" Syura's sinister eyes flashed with a cold gleam, clenching his fists. "Looks like you're tired of living."

"I suppose you can only talk like that to me," Mine scoffed. "If you were in front of that person, you'd probably have wet your pants by now. You're nothing but a coward who bullies the weak and fears the strong."

"You wretched brat!" Syura was enraged, his humiliation turning into fury. "You don't know how powerful I am! I'll make you beg for mercy, unable to cry out in pain!"

"Ha!" Mine tightened her grip on her sniper rifle, laughing lightly. "A disgusting creature like you polluting the air—are you planning to use the same filthy tricks against me? Oh my, do mad dogs like you enjoy barking?"

"Die, you little wench!"

Furious, Syura stomped his foot, and the ground collapsed with a thunderous roar. Rocks shattered, scattering in all directions. Through the rising dust, Syura swung his massive fist like a bolt of lightning, aiming straight for Mine.

"Too bad for you—I can't afford to die," Mine said with a tilt of her head, her pink twin-tails fluttering in the wind. "I won't let a fly buzz around my head."

As soon as she finished speaking, Mine swiftly raised her sniper rifle, took a deep breath, stepped forward with her left foot, crouched low, and locked her eyes on the scope. She pulled the trigger.

A brilliant beam of light shot out from the muzzle, like a burning column of light, distorting the air with its intense heat as it sped toward Syura.

"Boom!"

An explosion erupted where Syura stood, a flash of light followed by a blast of wind that sent dust swirling into the air. The ground was littered with shattered stones and torn-up grass.

Although Syura was hit head-on by Mine's Roman Artillery, she remained on guard. After all, Syura wasn't someone who could be defeated easily. Night Raid had fought against him before, and his strength left a lasting impression. Even Akame treated him seriously.

During the last battle with the Imperial Army, Bulat was severely wounded by Syura's sneak attack and ultimately died while protecting the retreating forces.

This time, Mine was fully focused—she was determined to kill Syura and avenge Bulat and the fallen members of the Revolutionary Army.

Suddenly, a dark figure shot out from the smoke, charging toward Mine with lightning speed.

So fast!

Mine's pupils contracted as she quickly raised her sniper rifle and fired without hesitation. A white beam shot out, heading straight for the oncoming figure.

As expected, Syura wasn't that easy to deal with. Even after taking a direct hit, he remained unscathed, except for a faint scorch mark on his clothes. There was no sign of injury on his body.

Syura was now airborne, with no ground to regain his balance. He was between attacks, unable to adjust his position. The white light was about to strike him.

But Syura's lips curled into a twisted smile.

"Bang!"

With a dull thud, Syura swung his powerful arm and deflected Mine's attack.

Mine's eyes widened in shock. Syura had swatted away her attack with his bare hand.

Her Roman Artillery didn't fire regular bullets, but spirit-based projectiles that were far more lethal than ordinary rounds, especially in terms of penetration. It could pierce through steel plates over a dozen centimeters thick.

Yet Syura had knocked it away with his hand!

Mine was stunned, realizing that Syura had grown even stronger than before. In the past, he had been injured by her Roman Artillery, forced to dodge in embarrassment. But now, he didn't even bother to evade.

Syura moved like a phantom, appearing before Mine in the blink of an eye, his face twisted in a cruel smile.

"You wretched brat, I'll make you suffer so much that you won't be able to speak."

"Bang!"

With a heavy impact, Syura's fist crashed into Mine's sniper rifle, the immense force sending her flying backward uncontrollably.

Such strength!

Mine's pupils contracted again. She had underestimated Syura's power.

A dark shadow flickered, and Syura suddenly appeared in front of her again, his distorted grin now visible up close. Startled, Mine quickly stepped back, raising her sniper rifle to fire once more.

"Bang!"

A blinding white beam shot out, hitting Syura squarely in the chest.

This time, Mine had put all her strength into the attack, increasing its power by more than half.

Before Mine could even catch her breath, a mocking voice whispered in her ear.

"Is that all you've got? Now it's my turn."

Damn it!

Mine turned around sharply, but it was too late.

"Thud!"

With a swift kick, Syura's foot slammed into her stomach.

"Urgh!"

Mine's body flew backward, blood spraying from her mouth as she soared through the air crashing to the ground after several rolls.

Although she had blocked the kick with her sniper rifle, the sheer force of the attack still left her gravely injured.

"Damn it!"

Mine struggled to push herself up with her arms, but when she lifted her head, she saw Syura already standing before her.

"You little wench, how should I toy with you?" Syura sneered, his perverse eyes scanning Mine's body as he licked his lips. "You're quite the prize."

"Hmm, I was just wondering the same thing—how should I toy with you?"

A sweet, melodic voice rang out, and a stunning silver-haired girl stepped out from the forest, looking at Syura with an amused expression.

Syura's pupils contracted, and cold sweat broke out on his back.
