The person who ambushed Kaguya was none other than Enshin, who had been lurking nearby, waiting for an opportunity to strike. Seeing this fleeting chance, he grasped his scimitar and swung it fiercely at Kaguya.
Just as the sharp scimitar was about to strike the back of Kaguya's head, her figure wavered and suddenly vanished from his sight.
Enshin was shocked, and as he frantically searched for Kaguya, a white fist appeared before his eyes.
With a muffled "bang," Enshin's abdomen was struck hard by a punch, instantly denting in. The intense pain twisted his face, causing him to spew saliva mixed with blood.
Somehow, Kaguya had silently appeared in front of him without any warning, as if she had vanished and reappeared out of thin air.
The attack was not over yet. Kaguya struck another heavy punch to his stomach. Enshin's eyes bulged, and saliva sprayed everywhere. The intense pain made him unable to hold the scimitar in his hand.
With a crisp "clang," the scimitar fell to the ground.
Kaguya's attacks were like a violent storm, an unending assault that left Enshin defenseless, forced to endure blow after blow. Moreover, Kaguya's speed was incredibly fast. Though it seemed long, it was only a fleeting moment, and Yanxin was beaten black and blue, with broken bones all over his body.
Finally, with a graceful spin, Kaguya kicked out with her leg, her silver hair dancing around her. Her leg struck Enshin's chest with lightning speed.
"Crack!"
Amidst the clear sound of bones breaking, Yanxin was sent flying like a ragged doll, spitting a mouthful of blood mist. He crashed heavily to the ground, creating a large pit in the solid earth.
But at this moment, Champ's attack also arrived. Five small balls of different colors spun in the air, emitting a sharp whistling sound as they screeched toward Kaguya's chest.
Kaguya seemed unconcerned, leisurely raising her alabaster arm and spreading her fingers toward the incoming balls, her eyes showing a hint of disdain.
Seeing the silver-haired girl ignoring his attack, Champ grinned, revealing a hideous smile on his ugly face.
Did she think his attack was the same as before? She was gravely mistaken. His Imperial Arms, when combined, could exert their greatest power. The previous attack couldn't compare to the current one. Unfortunately, the Explosive Jade was destroyed by her, or it would have been even more powerful.
The five small balls spinning in the air suddenly came together like magnets, forming a larger multicolored sphere, which emitted a dazzling light.
"Die!"
Champ laughed maniacally, his twisted and ferocious expression more like a demon from hell than a human.
"Well, you go die."
The beautiful silver-haired girl not far away showed a radiant smile, like clouds parting after rain, flowers blooming in full. For a moment, even Champ, who never favored beauty, was stunned.
But when he came to his senses, he realized something was wrong. His pupils contracted because his Imperial Arms had vanished into thin air before his eyes, disappearing in the blink of an eye.
There was a subtle psychological connection between a master and their Imperial Arms, allowing them to sense its general location. But just now, that connection suddenly broke, and a sense of foreboding arose in his heart.
Suddenly, Champ's eyes widened in shock and his face changed drastically, as if he had seen a ghost. His body seemed to freeze, slowly turning his head.
He saw a dazzling sphere of light rushing toward him from behind. He tried to control the Imperial Arms, but it was too late.
"Boom!"
A blinding light erupted in the air, followed by a deafening explosion that shook the heavens. A surging wave of air roared forth, sending sand and stones flying as dust filled the sky.
Champ probably never understood why his Imperial Arms disappeared or why they reappeared behind him. But he would never find out, as he was vaporized in the intense explosion, leaving not a trace of flesh or blood.
This was the result of Kaguya's ability to manipulate space with Yomotsu Hirasaka, transferring Champ's Imperial Arm behind him, causing him to suffer the consequences of his actions and ultimately be blown to pieces. The battle with Enshin also utilized this ability.
However, the explosion's power surprised Kaguya. She didn't expect Champ's Imperial Arms to be so powerful. If it had hit her, it would have been unpleasant. But no matter how formidable a weapon, if it couldn't hit its target, it was just a stick for kindling.
Meanwhile, a figure was crawling on the ground with difficulty, covered in wounds, blood trickling from his mouth, barely clinging to life. Every few breaths, a large amount of blood oozed from his mouth and nose, along with fragments of internal organs.
He was Enshin, who had been severely injured by Kaguya.
Enshin's chest was shattered, and his internal organs were severely damaged, leaving no hope of recovery. Now he was only clinging to life. But he refused to give up, desperately crawling forward, muttering incoherently due to excessive blood loss, "I don't want to die, I don't want to die."
Suddenly, a pair of black and red shoes appeared before Enshin. He struggled to lift his head, terror-stricken as he saw the silver-haired girl from before.
She was smiling at him, her eyes like crescent moons.
Yanxin's pupils contracted, his chest heaving violently, making a gurgling sound in his throat. His body trembled a few times, and finally, a large amount of crimson blood sprayed from his mouth as his head fell to the side, drawing his last breath.
Yanxin's Imperial Arms power varied with the moon's phases, weakest when the moon waned and strongest at the full moon. If it were a full moon, he might have stood a chance against Kaguya, but unfortunately, it was the beginning of the month, with only a crescent moon in the sky.
Kaguya furrowed her brows, walking over to the lifeless Enshin, feeling a bit bored. He had died of fright; she had wanted to have some fun with him.
In less than a tea break, Kaguya easily dispatched the two members of the Wild Hunt with overwhelming force.
Kaguya sighed, dusting off imaginary dust from her hands, and turned around with a light step, chuckling, "What's this? You eat spicy hotpot and want to run?"
