Chapter 198 - Massacre

"Are they drunk?" Kaguya asked curiously, a piece of cod dangling from her mouth as she blinked.

"Yes, soon I will send them to a comfortable place to rest," Aria replied, a bloodthirsty smile playing on her lips. "And you, too—why didn't you drink the wine? It could at least make you enjoy yourself a little."

"No worries, my dear. Resisting makes it more enjoyable," the middle-aged man's once-kind face twisted into a grotesque expression, his eyes gleaming with depravity as he stared at Kaguya as if he wanted to devour her. "My dear daughter, thank you for the gift. No, it's two gifts."

"That little boy is quite nice, too," the woman beside him said, a blush rising on her cheeks as she caressed her lips, a thin line of drool hanging from the corner of her mouth. "It's been a while since we've had such good goods."

"Hmph," Aria snorted, displeased. "Just don't break them. Otherwise, there'll be no fun."

"Are you bad people?" Kaguya raised her head, her exquisite face showing a trace of confusion as she asked innocently.

"Hahaha, excellent," the middle-aged man laughed heartily. "This is wonderful. I love this type of bewildered little lamb. Guards, seize her and take her to my room. Remember, don't hurt her. If there's even a scratch, you'll spend time in the dungeon."

Upon hearing the word "dungeon," the guards seemed to recall something terrifying. They quickly responded and advanced toward Kaguya.

Kaguya had finished eating, wiped her red lips with a white napkin, and looked up at the three people not far away. She smirked, saying, "I thought the characters in anime were already perverted enough, but reality proves you're even worse." Her mocking expression was unmistakable.

"What? Anime?" They were taken aback, not understanding what she meant. Even the guards hesitated and looked at the middle-aged man.

"What are you waiting for? Capture her!" The man waved his hand, a hint of anger crossing his face as he shouted, "I want to savor this little wretch."

Although he didn't understand what Kaguya meant by "anime," he clearly understood "perverted," realizing she was mocking them.

"It seems you don't understand your situation." Kaguya's lips curled, her eyes twinkling like autumn water as she looked at them with a smile that was not a smile.

At that moment, two guards extended their arms, reaching for Kaguya.

"Splurt!"

Blood splattered.

"Aaaah!"

Two piercing screams echoed suddenly.

Aria's pupils shrank as she watched the scene in shock.

The two guards reaching for Kaguya had their arms severed at the root, exposing flesh and bone as crimson blood sprayed.

In the blink of an eye, a cold light flashed, and before they knew it, the guards' arms were severed and sent flying.

Even a fool could see that they had miscalculated. They had thought this beautiful girl was a lamb to be slaughtered, but she was a ferocious tiger.

Another cold flash passed, silencing the screams, and the heads of the three guards rolled to the feet of the mansion's owners, with a geyser of blood shooting upward.

The family of three was petrified by the sight before them. They hadn't comprehended what had happened when their three guards were killed. They knew the guards' strength; they were former Imperial high-ranking officers with exceptional skills, each one a military elite.

Yet these three guards had no chance to resist before the silver-haired girl and perished without understanding how.

"Someone, help!"

The middle-aged man was the first to snap out of his stupor, shouting in terror as he ran toward the door. His wife and daughter, Aria, followed closely, fleeing toward the exit.

Kaguya stood up, moving with graceful steps, and followed them at a leisurely pace.

To the fleeing family, Kaguya seemed like a vengeful spirit, steadily closing in. Seeing Kaguya following them, they panicked further and rushed to the doorway. They found themselves stuck at the door, pushing and shoving each other in the narrow exit.

"Get out of the way!" The man kicked Aria aside and shoved his wife, desperately trying to escape.

"Pathetic," Kaguya mocked, her smile taunting. "Did you ever think about this happening to you when you tormented others?"

Seeing the silver-haired girl approaching, the mother and daughter were terrified. Aria ran outside in a panic.

"Aria!"

Aria paused and turned back to see her mother sitting on the floor, looking at her with pleading eyes.

The middle-aged man's kick had struck her hard in the stomach, seriously injuring her and causing her to fall and twist her ankle. She could no longer move.

"Help me," the woman pleaded, her once-beautiful face now drained of color.

But Aria only gave her a cold glance before turning away, without hesitation, and ran into the distance.

"It seems there's little familial love between you."

A cold voice came from behind. The woman's pupils shrank, her face turning ashen, and she trembled violently, slowly turning her head like a rusted machine.

A flash of cold light.

Blood splattered.

Before she could see clearly, her world spun, and as she fell, she saw her headless body spraying blood.
