Just as Kaguya was about to be hit, Danzo felt a sense of unreality. He had an intuition that things would not be that simple, a persistent unease that something unexpected might happen.
Sure enough, Danzo's fears were realized. In front of him, Kaguya vanished without a trace as if she had never been there.
Danzo's eyes widened in shock. He quickly scanned his surroundings for any sign of Kaguya but found nothing. Sweat began to bead on his forehead.
It was clear that this Kaguya was not someone easy to deal with. A sense of regret crept into his heart—why had he sought trouble with these two girls?
Suddenly, Kaguya's presence reappeared, directly behind him. Danzo's eyes sharpened with alarm, but before he could turn around, it was too late.
Kaguya's palm was already aimed at his back, a slight smile playing on her lips. An intense repulsive force burst forth from her hand.
An unstoppable force struck Danzo from behind, causing intense pain that nearly knocked the wind out of him. He could hear the crisp sounds of his bones breaking within his body.
"Boom!"
Danzo was hurled into a distant hillock. The rock behind him shattered completely into rubble. Along the way, numerous trees were broken, wood chips flew through the air, and dust swirled in the sunlight.
The same repulsive force, but Kaguya had changed. Her chakra was now on a different level entirely. Previously, a few jutsus would have exhausted her chakra reserves, but now she was hardly constrained by chakra limits.
Moreover, with the increase in Kaguya's chakra, the power of her techniques had also strengthened significantly. While her repulsive force used to merely send people flying without causing much harm, it had now increased several times over. When infused with a large amount of chakra, it reached the level of Nagato's Shinra Tensei.
"Ugh." Danzo spat a mouthful of blood, soaking his chest in crimson, staining the ground around him with splotches of red.
"Who exactly is she?"
Danzo's face twisted with fear and uncertainty as he stared at the beautiful girl in the distance. His earlier confidence was gone, replaced by a fear he had not felt in many years.
He was certain he had never encountered this girl before. Not only had he not met her, but he also knew little about her background—only that she came from Roran, a place associated with the Dragon Veins' chakra. This girl named Kaguya seemed to have appeared out of nowhere overnight, descending upon Konoha like a comet.
For reasons he couldn't fathom, from the moment he first laid eyes on her, a deep-seated hostility toward this beautiful girl had stirred within him—a feeling he had never experienced before. This feeling had driven him to make a move against Kaguya, trying to uncover the reason, but now it seemed his instincts were correct.
Unexpectedly, this girl possessed such tremendous power. Had Danzo known of Kaguya's true strength, he would never have recklessly confronted her.
Unfortunately, there was no remedy for regret in this world.
Panting heavily, Danzo realized he couldn't continue this way. He wasn't her match, and prolonging the confrontation would put him in grave danger.
Suddenly, Danzo's mind shifted, and he turned his attention to the little girl, Black Zetsu, who was still a distance away from Kaguya. His eyes narrowed with a calculating glint.
If he could capture this little girl...
With this thought, Danzo hesitated no longer. He channeled chakra throughout his body and launched himself like an arrow from a bow, charging toward the twin-tailed, golden-haired little girl.
Danzo moved with incredible speed, closing the gap in the blink of an eye. He was only a few meters away and could even see the girl's eyelashes trembling slightly.
Yet, instead of feeling any joy of success, a sense of impending danger overwhelmed him, originating from the cute girl in front of him.
She slightly furrowed her brows, her flawless face flushed as if in anger, and a dangerous glint shone in her eyes. A shadow shot out from her delicate palm.
Knowing something was wrong, Danzo's instincts screamed at him to retreat. However, just as he turned, he saw a well-shod foot already in front of him.
With a sharp "bang," Danzo was kicked squarely in the face. The force sent him flying, flipping several times in the air before crashing to the ground and skidding a few meters before coming to a stop.
"Mother," the twin-tailed, golden-haired little girl blinked her eyes, looking puzzled at Kaguya, as if not understanding why she was stopped.
Kaguya walked over with a faint smile on her lips and said, "Don't dirty your hands; otherwise, be careful you can't wash it off."
"Is that so?" The little girl looked relieved, patting her chest with relief that she hadn't touched that old man.
This was the special ability of Black Zetsu—the ability to attach her spiritual form to others and thus control their bodies. Even Naruto, Sasuke, Obito, and Madara had fallen for this trick.
However, Kaguya had a cleanliness obsession and would never allow Black Zetsu to come into contact with Danzo. It was simply too disgusting.
Kaguya's previous heavy blow had already severely injured Danzo, causing multiple fractures throughout his body, with his nose even being kicked directly.
Seeing Danzo struggling to get up, Kaguya approached and stepped on his face.
With a muffled "thud," she stomped his face into the dirt, deforming his cheeks as blood and saliva mixed, flowing from his mouth and forming a dark red puddle.
"You really are incorrigible, going so far as to target a child. Truly despicable," Kaguya said disdainfully. "No matter how many times I look at you, you're always so repulsive."
Saying this, Kaguya applied a bit more force with her foot, grinding his detestable face into the mud.
