After finishing their meal and feeling satisfied, it was already evening. The boys had all left, and the girls each had their own matters to attend to and had gone home. Only Hinata and Kaguya remained.
"Let's go to the hot springs," Kaguya suggested with a smile, "It's been a long time since I soaked in a hot spring."
"Okay." Hinata nodded gently, holding her hand.
"Having barbecue and then soaking in a hot spring is just too comfortable." Kaguya lay on a rock in the hot spring, revealing her beautiful body.
"It's been a long time since we soaked together," Hinata said softly, "The last time was four years ago."
"Oh, really," Kaguya was surprised, her fingers pinching her chin as she thought, "It does seem like a long time ago."
"How have you been these past years outside?" Hinata asked with a smile.
"These past years," Kaguya rested her cheek on her hand, lost in thought.
"I just want to know more about you," Hinata smiled softly, "If it's not inconvenient for you."
"083"
"It's nothing much," Kaguya twirled her hair around her finger and said, "Just running around doing missions all the time, no holidays."
"Really," Hinata said quietly, looking at Kaguya with hopeful eyes, "You don't have to go back now, right?"
"Yeah, I'm not going back. There's nothing worth staying for. If I weren't forced by circumstances, I wouldn't have gone there," Kaguya turned over and half-lay on the rock, her curvy body fully on display.
"The village has changed a lot while you were gone," Hinata said with a smile.
"Yeah, I almost didn't recognize it. And you've changed a lot too," Kaguya said, her eyes scanning Hinata's body.
"Really?" Hinata asked in confusion, glancing down at her own body where Kaguya was looking.
"Yeah, you've become more beautiful," Kaguya smiled slightly, then curiously asked, "By the way, why are you holding your chest?"
"It feels like it would float up," Hinata said weakly, sinking into the hot spring.
"Really," Kaguya looked surprised, then laughed mischievously and swam over to Hinata. "Let me check it out."
"No, don't, sister. Don't squeeze, it'll break."
"It's okay, I'll be gentle, hehe."
After Kaguya's examination, she found that Hinata's body was developing very well, especially her chest, which felt soft and slippery, with the little buds on top standing up under stimulation, soft yet firm, making it irresistible.
After Kaguya's playful inspection, Hinata lay softly against a smooth rock, gently panting, her face still slightly flushed.
Just when Kaguya thought everything was peaceful, trouble arose again. After losing many ninjas, the Anbu received a top-secret piece of information. According to the Anbu's intelligence, Kabuto Yakushi was conspiring with Obito to launch the Fourth Great Ninja War, and the Eight-Tails Jinchuriki Killer Bee had already been captured. This meant that of the nine tailed beasts, eight had been taken by Obito, leaving only Naruto.
Another piece of news was that Uchiha Sasuke had killed Uchiha Itachi, formed the "Hawk" team, and joined forces with Obito Uchiha, aiming to destroy Konoha.
Neither of these pieces of news was good. While others might not understand the severity of the situation, Kaguya was very clear. This was already a critical moment. If Obito Uchiha managed to capture the Nine-Tails, it would be a serious problem.
But Kaguya still had a faint sense of unease, as if a shadow was looming in her heart, making her restless and unable to sleep. At her level of power, she usually had some premonition about things that were about to happen, even though these feelings were quite mysterious, she preferred to believe them.
"What's wrong, Kaguya?" This was Konan, who walked out of her room wearing a semi-transparent nightgown, revealing her curvy figure, making her look even more alluring. "You've seemed unhappy lately."
"Nothing," Kaguya smiled slightly, "Maybe I'm just in a low mood recently, feeling a bit depressed."
"Is that so?" Konan said suspiciously, then seemed to think of something, smiled slightly, "Drink more brown sugar water these days, remember not to eat cold things or catch a cold, you'll feel better in a few days."
"Mmm, mmm." Kaguya was currently lost in thought, not paying much attention to Konan's words.
"You might need this, don't forget to use it." Konan handed a package to Kaguya with a smile, "I remember when you were little and encountered this for the first time, you were so scared, you were really cute back then."
Kaguya took the package from Konan, feeling something was off. She opened it and found several rectangular cotton pads neatly stacked inside.
Kaguya's forehead instantly filled with black lines, and she forced a smile. She was about to explain the misunderstanding, but then swallowed her words. This sort of thing was difficult to explain.
Suddenly, a flash of insight struck Kaguya's mind. She finally understood what she was worried about. She quickly changed out of her nightgown and put on her clothes.
"Where are you going in the middle of the night?" Konan asked curiously.
"The Anbu has some business, I need to go," Kaguya said nonchalantly, "You go ahead and sleep, don't bother making breakfast for me tomorrow."
Dressed, Kaguya rushed out of the house, arriving at a dark corner. Her eyes, like stars, slowly started rotating, emitting an invisible power. Kaguya gently swiped her fingers in the air, creating a black rift. She leaped into it, and the rift vanished instantly.
Behind a utility pole, a figure emerged. With light blue-purple hair and a light purple paper flower on her head, it was Konan. She stood there, staring at the spot where Kaguya had disappeared, a hint of worry in her eyes.
When Kaguya emerged from the space, she was in a spacious room. It was quite empty, except for a large stone platform in the center, covered with white paper flowers. Two bodies lay atop the paper flowers.
Indeed, this was the place where Yahiko and Nagato's bodies were kept. Kaguya quickly approached, her eyes narrowing.
As expected, Nagato's Rinnegan was missing.
No wonder Kaguya had been feeling uneasy, as if something was about to happen. She hadn't expected it to be this serious.
This was a significant issue. Obito already had eight of the tailed beasts, and now with the Rinnegan, the countdown to the Fourth Great Ninja War had begun.
Kaguya had never thought it would happen so quickly, much faster than in the original story. Was it because of her presence, creating a butterfly effect?
A tremendous pressure weighed down on Kaguya. She didn't have much time left. But now the situation was beyond her plan. She had originally intended to increase her strength further, so even if Madara were resurrected, it wouldn't matter. But now she was far from ready.
Her current body of Ōtsutsuki Kaguya was not yet complete. She could only use some lower-level techniques like Rabbit Hair Needle, Eighty Gods Vacuum Attack, and All-Killing Ash Bones. But because her body wasn't complete, she didn't have the massive chakra reserves of her true form, making her abilities much weaker. She hadn't yet awakened the Sharingan or Rinne Sharingan, and couldn't use abilities like Amenominaka or Yomotsu Hirasaka.
As for the Tenseigan, it wasn't fully awakened either. Although she could use most of its abilities, the chakra consumption was too enormous, making it hard for her body to sustain for long. This was similar to Kakashi, who had the Sharingan but struggled to increase his strength due to his limited chakra reserves.
"Interesting," Kaguya looked up, a smile spreading across her face.
Despite the severe situation, Kaguya wasn't discouraged. Instead, it ignited a stubborn resilience in her. She had never been one to give up easily.
What Kaguya needed most now was to increase her strength. Strength was the foundation of everything. And she had just thought of a way to do that: the Dragon Veins.
