Chapter 50 - Joining The Group

"Boom!"

The violent explosion was deafening, with flames shooting into the sky, stones scattering, dust filling the air, and turbulent shockwaves sweeping everything in their path.

"Art is an explosion!"

A blond-haired boy was waving his arms and dancing, shouting loudly in excitement.

"Not bad, quite beautiful."

At that moment, a pleasant voice came from behind him. Deidara was startled and quickly turned around to see a girl walking towards him. When he saw the girl, he was momentarily stunned. He had never seen such a beautiful girl before, with long silver-white hair, snow-white skin, sparkling eyes, trembling eyelashes, and rosy lips.

"Is that so?" The blond boy scratched his head, a bit embarrassed. No one had ever praised him like this before.

"Are you Deidara?" Kaguya sized up the boy in front of her.

"Yes, that's me," Deidara asked curiously, "Who are you? Do you need something from me?"

"Have you heard of the Akatsuki?" Kaguya squinted and smiled.

"The Akatsuki?" Deidara scratched his chin, thought for a moment, and said, "Never heard of it. What is it?"

"It's a place where you can blow things up without any consequences." Kaguya walked over and said, "Do you want to join?"

"Really?" Deidara tilted his head and said, "That sounds tempting, but it can't be that simple, hmm."

"Indeed, joining the Akatsuki also means taking on some missions," Kaguya said. "But during these missions, you can pursue your art to your heart's content."

"That sounds pretty good," Deidara said, scratching his chin and thinking. "But I'm still skeptical about your organization's strength. Even though you're pretty, it's not enough to make me join just like that, hmm."

"That's understandable," Kaguya nodded with a smile. "Then let's have a little match."

"Hey, hey," Deidara quickly said, "I won't hold back, hmm."

"Bring it on," Kaguya's lips curved slightly.

As soon as Kaguya finished speaking, she stepped forward and rushed out. With a flick of her hand, four shuriken appeared, which she threw with force. The shuriken spun towards Deidara.

Deidara tilted his body, dodging the shuriken's attack. He reached into his clay pouch and began kneading the clay with his hands. When he brought his hand out, he already had seven or eight clay birds in his palm.

Deidara made hand seals, and with a "poof," the birds grew larger, turning into large white birds that flew towards Kaguya like arrows.

Kaguya raised her arm, and with a burst of repulsion from her palm, an invisible wave of gravitational force shot out, sending the birds flying. At that moment, countless clay spiders fell from the sky, landing around her.

Deidara made hand seals and shouted, "Explode!"

With a loud boom, a violent explosion occurred where Kaguya was, flames shooting into the sky, thick smoke billowing, stones scattering, and dust flying everywhere.

"Did I overdo it?" Deidara looked at the smoke with some concern.

"Thanks for your concern, but I won't be defeated that easily." At that moment, a familiar voice suddenly sounded in Deidara's ear.

Deidara was shocked and quickly turned around, only to find that Kaguya had somehow gotten behind him. She gave him a hard push, and caught off guard, Deidara fell over.

"Be careful," Kaguya said with a light smile.

Deidara looked at Kaguya's smile, a bit dazed.

"What's the matter?" Kaguya asked curiously, "Not going to fight anymore?" she said, extending her hand.

Deidara couldn't help but grab her hand, finding it delicate and smooth, like silk.

"Fight? Of course, we'll fight," Deidara said, flustered as he pulled himself up with Kaguya's hand. "I won't lose to you." Faced with such a beautiful girl, Deidara's male pride was stirred.

"Okay," Kaguya nodded lightly.

"But be careful, don't push yourself too hard. My techniques are very powerful," Deidara cautioned, which was rare for him.

"Okay."

The two drew their distance, and the battle resumed.

Deidara grabbed a handful of clay and began chewing it. When he spat it out, he made hand seals.

"C2 Dragon."

A giant dragon appeared, crafted from clay but lifelike in its detail. It roared with its head raised, and Deidara stood atop the dragon's head, looking down at Kaguya.

Kaguya used her control over gravity to fly into the air, shooting towards Deidara like an arrow.

The dragon opened its mouth wide, spewing out a mass of white clay aimed at Kaguya. Unfazed, Kaguya raised her hand and with a flick, repulsive force sent the clay flying.

"Boom!" The clay exploded in mid-air, the shockwave causing Kaguya to momentarily halt.

At that moment, countless birds flew out from a cloud of white smoke, rushing towards Kaguya.

Kaguya extended her arms, grasping at the air. The birds suddenly froze as if caught in an invisible web, unable to move.

"Boom!" The birds exploded, the resulting gusts of wind forced Kaguya to close her eyes reflexively.

During this time, numerous tiny birds, resembling hummingbirds and hard to notice, surrounded her.

"Now!"

At Deidara's shout, the small birds exploded with a deafening noise. Thick smoke and bright flames filled the air, and the enormous wind from the explosion made even Deidara, standing on the dragon, struggle to maintain his balance.

Before the smoke could clear, the dragon charged into it. With vision obscured by the dust, it was the perfect opportunity. As the smoke dispersed, Kaguya was seen tightly bound by the clay dragon.

Deidara had already jumped onto a large bird and was about to make the hand seals to trigger the explosion but hesitated, unable to bring himself to do it.

"Thanks for holding back."

At that moment, a familiar voice came from behind him.

Deidara was shocked and quickly turned around. Somehow, Kaguya had appeared behind him, a kunai pressed against his neck. Looking back at the dragon, he saw the Kaguya it held dissolve into white smoke with a "poof."

During the explosion, Kaguya had created a shadow clone and moved behind Deidara.

"I lost," Deidara sighed.

Kaguya removed the kunai from his neck and smiled lightly. "You didn't lose. You let me win."

"A loss is a loss, hmm," Deidara grunted, turning his head to hide the blush on his face.

Kaguya smiled slightly, finding Deidara quite cute.

At that moment, a figure approached from a distance, quickly arriving in front of them.
