Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Entwined Destiny

Months had passed, and Seo Wa's pregnancy was nearing its due date, but Shin Lee was nowhere to be found. Unaware of Seo Wa's condition, neither Shin Lee nor Zeus knew she was carrying his child.

Shin Lee often found himself lost in thoughts of Seo Wa. Sitting in his study, he was deep in contemplation when Zeus entered. Shin Lee rose and addressed his father, "When you went to Earth, what did you do?"

"I didn't do much, Father," replied Zeus, his voice tinged with curiosity and concern. "Why do you ask, Shin Lee?"

Shin Lee sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I've been thinking about Seo Wa. I miss her terribly, and I feel like there's something I'm missing, something important."

Shin Lee then asked his father about the legendary sword. Zeus responded firmly, "You were not found worthy to wield it. It has been cast away far beyond imagination, and only descendants of the gods will be able to wield it." He looked at Shin Lee sternly. "Never ask about the sword again."

Meanwhile, Seo Wa was suffering greatly in the village. Shunned by everyone, she endured hardships and mistreatment. Her pregnancy made her even more vulnerable, and without Shin Lee's protection, she faced the cruelty of the villagers alone. Despite her struggles, Seo Wa remained strong, determined to bring her child into the world.

At the same time, the king's wife was also pregnant, fulfilling a prophecy given to them by a seer. The prophecy foretold the birth of a king who would rule over the land with wisdom and bravery, bringing light to the village. The king was overjoyed and eagerly awaited the birth of his child, believing it would herald a new era for the kingdom.

As the months passed, both pregnancies neared their due dates. The village buzzed with anticipation, not knowing that the births of these two children would be more intertwined than they could ever imagine.

Finally, the day arrived. Seo Wa went into the woods to gather herbs, but unfortunately, she went into labor there. With no one around to help, she moved into the mountains where she settled down to give birth all by herself, enduring immense pain and uncertainty. At the same time, the king's wife also began to give birth. The village was thrown into a state of heightened tension and excitement as they awaited the arrival of the king's baby.

Unbeknownst to them all, Seo Wa was also giving birth that same day. The destinies of these two children were about to collide, setting the stage for a future filled with unforeseen challenges and remarkable events.

The sky went dark, the wind blew fiercely, and there was thunder and lightning everywhere. Suddenly, it became calm, and a bright light struck from the sky down to the earth. The king was shocked by what he saw.

After enduring serious challenges during childbirth, both women gave birth. The king's wife gave birth to a male child, and they named him Huang Kai. Meanwhile, Seo Wa gave birth to a male child but did not survive.

The village rejoiced at the birth of the king's son, celebrating the fulfillment of the prophecy.

Meanwhile, in the mountains, Seo Wa lay beside her newborn son, her final moments spent ensuring his safe arrival into the world.

Shin Lee, unaware of the events unfolding on Earth, felt a sudden, inexplicable pang of great power.

Zeus, sensing an extraordinary force emanating from Earth, decided to investigate. Determined to find the source, he left the divine realm and descended to Earth.

As Shin Lee searched for Seo Wa, a hunter named Shin Peng among the villagers stumbled upon the newborn baby in the mountains. Moved by the child's innocent cries, he decided to take him to the village. Before Seo Wa passed, she held the hunter's hand and begged him to protect her child, unaware of his true parentage. She named him Li Wei.

Shin Peng raised Li Wei with love and care, despite the mystery surrounding his origin.

Shin Lee looked for Seo Wa in the village but could not find her, eventually returning to the divine realm without her.

Li Wei grew up in a town called Qingyuan, where he was born and raised by Shin Peng, whom he called father. Shin Peng instilled in him the values of kindness and courage, ensuring that he grew up strong and virtuous.

Years passed, and Li Wei grew into a strong and intelligent young man, unaware of his divine heritage. The villagers of Qingyuan noticed his extraordinary abilities and respected him greatly.

Meanwhile, in the royal palace, Prince Huang Kai was being groomed to take the throne. Studying the affairs of the country, he often felt a sense of unease surrounding the prophecy and his future rule.

Li Wei was concerned about the well-being of his people, and for that reason, he was loved by them. He was playful and always eager to help.

Li Wei frequently got into trouble due to his attempts to assist the villagers. Despite often getting beaten for his actions, he had become accustomed to it and did not let it affect his resolve.

The years continued to pass, and both Li Wei and Prince Huang Kai grew into their respective roles, each embodying the values and characteristics of their upbringing. Li Wei's life in Qingyuan was filled with challenges and triumphs, where his strength, intelligence, and kindness shone brightly. His adoptive father, Shin Peng, continued to guide him, nurturing his growth and encouraging his natural abilities.

In contrast, Prince Huang Kai's life in the royal palace was one of privilege and duty. Under the watchful eyes of his parents and mentors, he was trained in the arts of leadership, strategy, and combat. Despite his royal upbringing, a sense of unease always lingered, tied to the mysterious prophecy that had foretold his birth.

Li Wei's exceptional abilities did not go unnoticed by those around him. He could perform feats of strength and agility that were beyond the capabilities of ordinary men. His heart was always in the right place, driven by a desire to protect and serve his fellow villagers. Yet, despite his extraordinary nature, he remained humble, never seeking to dominate or control others.
