Dexter shook his head, trembling.
"Don't read it…"
He didn't want me to read it as if there was something that he didn't want me to recall.
"Leave," I said to Damien. I didn't want to see him now.
Damien lowered his gaze and said softly, "When you're done reading it, you'll understand… I'll wait for you,Sophia."
He shot a warning glare at Dexter before leaving.
It was as if Damien had come just to expose the fact that Dexter was not mentally disabled.
Everything that happened to the Blacks was a part of Dexter's plans.
"Did you plan everything ?" I asked grimly. "Did you scheme against the Blacks? Including me and the baby?"
Public opinion on the internet had suddenly begun to favor Dexter one–sidedly. That was a hard blow to
