"Good morning, little Hinata." Sasuke gently poked Hinata's soft, elastic cheek with his finger, enjoying the touch. A smile unconsciously appeared on his lips. Hinata's physique was enviable; despite her love for food, her belly showed no sign of fat. It was as if all the nutrients were perfectly distributed.
Seeing Sasuke teasing her as soon as she woke up, Hinata's cheeks turned bright red. She shyly lowered her head and softly replied, "Good morning, Sasuke-kun."
After Sasuke's special training, she could now control her shyness much better. "Okay, get up. I need to go to your Hyuga clan today, and you will go with me," Sasuke said gently, reaching out to stroke Hinata's soft hair with a hint of affection in his eyes.
"Sasuke-kun, do you have something to discuss with my father?" Hinata asked, looking at Sasuke with a curious expression.
"Yes, I have important matters to discuss with the Hyuga clan leader," Sasuke nodded, his expression becoming serious. "It involves the Byakugan of your Hyuga clan." His eyes flashed with a mysterious light.
Hinata's expression also turned serious. She understood the significance of the Byakugan to the Hyuga clan. If Sasuke's matters concerned the Byakugan, it was certainly important. "In that case, let's set off as soon as possible!" Hinata was eager to know what Sasuke was going to say and quickly got out of bed, ready to accompany him to the Hyuga clan.
"No hurry, you haven't had breakfast yet. Let me make you some milk before we go," Sasuke smiled mischievously, confusing Hinata.
"Sasuke, I wonder what important matter you wish to discuss?" Hyuga Hiashi asked, his eyes filled with complexity as he looked at Sasuke. Originally, he had hoped for Hinata to bear Sasuke's child, bringing the Sharingan into the Hyuga lineage. But now...
Seeing Hinata standing beside Sasuke with a flushed face, Hiashi knew the Byakugan had been bested by the Uchiha. Were it anyone else, he wouldn't have hesitated to react, but Sasuke was different. As a Uchiha with the Mangekyō Sharingan, Sasuke could overpower him easily.
"Hyuga clan leader, what are your thoughts on the Byakugan being one of the three major eye techniques in the ninja world?" Sasuke asked with a subtle smile.
Hiashi frowned at the question. "As one of the three major eye techniques, the Byakugan is unique and works well with our Gentle Fist technique," he replied seriously.
Sasuke nodded in agreement. "Yes, the Byakugan is indeed unique, but it seems somewhat lacking compared to the other two eye techniques."
Hiashi's face changed slightly. "Sasuke, what do you mean by this? Do you think the Byakugan of our Hyuga clan is inferior to your Uchiha's Sharingan?" he asked with displeasure.
Sasuke's smile remained calm. "Hyuga clan leader, please don't misunderstand. I don't mean to belittle the Byakugan. In fact, I believe the Byakugan has untapped potential."
His eyes were firm and deep, as if he could see through everything. "The Sharingan, another of the three major eye techniques, can do more than just copying and illusions. When the Mangekyō Sharingan is awakened, it gains tremendous power." Sasuke's eyes flashed with confidence.
He continued, "The Rinnegan, the eyes of the Sage of Six Paths, is unparalleled in power and status. It certainly surpasses the Byakugan."
Hiashi listened quietly, then spoke slowly, "Admittedly, the Byakugan does have certain limitations compared to the other eye techniques. However, I believe a skilled ninja can bridge that gap with their abilities."
Sasuke chuckled at Hiashi's words, not out of ridicule but because he found Hiashi's viewpoint amusing. If personal skill alone could close the gap in eye techniques, wouldn't the Byakugan become redundant for ninjas?
Seeing Sasuke's amusement, Hiashi's face darkened. He wished he could show Sasuke the power of their Gentle Fist, but he knew he was no match for Sasuke. "Sasuke, what exactly do you want to say?"
Sasuke composed himself and said, "Do you believe the Byakugan can evolve?"
Hiashi's eyes showed surprise at the question. Sasuke noticed it clearly. "It seems you know something about the Byakugan's evolution," Sasuke remarked.
"Why do you think so?" Hiashi asked, his expression unreadable. He was unsure why Sasuke brought up the evolution of the Byakugan.
"Just as the Sharingan can evolve, I believe it's natural for the Byakugan, another of the three major eye techniques, to evolve as well. Has there never been an evolved Byakugan in the Hyuga clan's history?" Sasuke asked with a smile.
After a moment of silence, Hiashi replied, "There has been no evolved Byakugan in the Hyuga clan's history."
Sasuke chuckled. Hiashi's words were intriguing. There hadn't been an evolved Byakugan, but that didn't rule out the existence of other Byakugan forms. "So, there have been other forms of the Byakugan?"
Hiashi realized his mistake and closed his eyes, refusing to speak further. He didn't want Sasuke to extract more information from him.
Seeing Hiashi's reaction, Sasuke smiled. "Hyuga clan leader, if I told you I know how to evolve the Byakugan, would you believe me?"
Hiashi opened his eyes and stared at Sasuke intently.
