Sasuke walked quickly into the laboratory, his gaze sweeping the room before immediately noticing the medicine. Kabuto Yakushi was diligently sorting through a pile of scientific research materials.
Seeing Sasuke's arrival, Kabuto stood up quickly, an attentive smile on his face, and warmly greeted him. "Sasuke-sama, good morning! I didn't expect you to come to the lab so early!"
Kabuto had noticed last night that Guren hadn't returned, and he understood the situation. It seemed that Sasuke and Guren had spent a good time together last night! However, Sasuke ignored the subtle hint in Kabuto's words and, getting straight to the point, said in a firm tone, "Stop blabbering and tell me what Orochimaru said. I need the research materials he organized for me now."
Upon hearing Sasuke's order, Kabuto's smile turned slightly cunning as a flash of light passed through his eyes. "Sasuke-sama, what a coincidence! I happened to have sorted out a lot of relevant information. I'll send the rest to you right away." He handed the thick document he was holding to Sasuke.
Sasuke took the information and flipped through a few pages, astonished by the results of Orochimaru's research. The materials contained not only in-depth research on Wood Release but also detailed information about the Sharingan. Seeing the Sharingan research, Sasuke couldn't help but think of Uchiha Shin. Though Shin shared the Uchiha name, he wasn't actually a member of the clan. Admiring Uchiha Itachi, Shin chose to call himself Uchiha, and he aligned with Akatsuki's values, donning their distinctive attire. Unfortunately, he was eventually betrayed and killed by his own clone.
Sasuke was curious about Shin's physique. Studying Shin's body structure could lead to a way to grant the Sharingan to someone. This could create an artificial Uchiha clan, inheriting the power of the Sharingan. However, the pressing question was whether Uchiha Shin was still with Orochimaru. If he had defected, finding him would take much time and effort.
Sasuke looked up, a smile playing on his lips as he softly asked Kabuto, "Is Uchiha Shin still here with Orochimaru?" He awaited Kabuto's answer, hoping for confirmation. If Shin was still around, that would be good news, allowing for further study. But if Shin had defected, it would complicate things.
Hearing Sasuke's question, Kabuto frowned in confusion. "Who is Uchiha Shin? Is he a clansman you left behind?" After all, Shin was just an experiment in Orochimaru's hands, not formally named Uchiha Shin. Naturally, Kabuto wasn't aware of Shin's existence.
Sasuke quickly realized his mistake and changed his question. "He is the real owner of Shimura Danzo's right arm. You should know that, right?" Sasuke's eyes were sharp, trying to find any flaw in Kabuto's expression.
Kabuto's smile faltered for a moment but soon returned to normal. "Sasuke-sama, I'm sorry, but we don't have anyone by that name here. Should I help you find him?"
With that, Kabuto turned to leave. However, Sasuke wouldn't let him go so easily. Just as Kabuto was about to leave, Sasuke appeared in his path. "Don't move!" Sasuke's voice was cold, filled with authority. His gaze pierced deep into Kabuto's heart, making Kabuto feel uneasy.
"It seems you remember the experimental subject, or you wouldn't be in such a hurry to leave," Sasuke sneered. Kabuto quickly shook his head. "Of course not, Sasuke-sama. I just need to see Orochimaru."
"Why lie? Doesn't Orochimaru want a Sharingan body?" Sasuke looked at Kabuto coldly. Kabuto was startled but maintained his calm demeanor. "Sasuke-sama, I'm loyal to Orochimaru and would never betray him."
"Really? Then go and tell that to Orochimaru. I'll be waiting for your good news." Sasuke sat down, crossing his legs, looking relaxed. Kabuto hesitated but decided to inform Orochimaru, knowing he'd be blamed otherwise.
Upon learning the news, Orochimaru was surprised. "Sasuke-kun said he wants to create a suitable Uchiha body for me?" His eyes gleamed with excitement, unable to believe it. He'd longed for a perfect Uchiha body, and now Sasuke offered to grant him that wish.
Yakushi Kabuto nodded respectfully. "Yes, Lord Orochimaru, Sasuke said so." Orochimaru's hands trembled slightly with excitement. "This is wonderful... so wonderful!" He took a deep breath, calmed his excitement, and ordered Kabuto to prepare everything to ensure a smooth process.
Kabuto left to carry out his orders while Orochimaru dreamed of his future with a new body.
