Chapter 105 - Chapter 105: Illusion World 1 - Tokyo Gourmet

---

After the mysterious masked man took off his mask, what was revealed was Sasuke's handsome face.

Yes, everything that had just happened was nothing more than an illusion world that Sasuke carefully constructed for Uchiha Itachi.

This illusion world is called - Tokyo Gourmet! Its inspiration comes from the Infinite Tsukuyomi. In that world, people can realize their deepest desires.

However, his Tokyo Gourmet is different. It forces the recipient to experience the life path that Kaneki Ken once walked. You know, Kaneki Ken's experience is not something that ordinary people can endure—it is an unspeakable pain and torture.

"Itachi, look forward to your new identity!" Sasuke sneered as his figure gradually disappeared.

In the Uchiha clan's territory, in Uchiha Itachi's room, Itachi was pale and lying on the bed, his face full of pain. Suddenly, he opened his eyes abruptly, filled with fear and despair.

"You are not Izumi!!!"

He woke up from the nightmare again, and the horrible scenes kept replaying in his mind. Itachi covered his head and found himself in his own home. He sighed and said, "I knew it—how could Izumi become that kind of monster?"

Then Itachi got out of bed, intending to eat something. He took out some food from the refrigerator to fill his stomach. Just as Itachi put the food into his mouth and began to chew, a disgusting, fishy taste overwhelmed him, and he immediately spat the food out.

"Is it expired?" Itachi wondered aloud, confused. He didn't think it could be his own fault.

"Forget it, I'll just go out to eat." Itachi decided, leaving home and heading to the Uchiha restaurant for dinner.

As Itachi walked alone on the street, he suddenly noticed a strange smell coming from the people around him. The scent was irresistible, even intoxicating. This made Itachi feel uneasy and confused, but he tried to restrain his inner impulse, telling himself it was just an illusion caused by hunger. So he decided to eat at a nearby restaurant first.

When he walked into the restaurant, he ordered a few dishes at random and waited quietly for the waiter to serve the food. After a while, the waiter brought the dishes to the table. Itachi looked at the once-appetizing food but found that he had completely lost his appetite. Nevertheless, he decided to try it, since he had already paid. However, when he put the food in his mouth, he immediately felt nauseous and couldn't help but vomit.

Seeing this, the restaurant owner rushed over angrily and asked, "Hey, what's wrong with you? Even if my food doesn't suit your taste, you don't need to vomit after eating it! Are you sent by a competitor to deliberately ruin my reputation?"

Itachi didn't bother to explain. He silently placed some money on the table and quickly left the restaurant. He knew something was wrong with his body and that he needed to find a solution soon.

After returning home, Itachi was puzzled as to why he couldn't eat. What was the reason? He decided to sleep first, hoping things would improve after some rest.

Sasuke, watching this scene, sneered, "Let's see if you can control the instincts of a ghoul!"

Time passed, night fell, and everything around was silent. In Itachi's room, the figure that should have been resting in bed had vanished.

On a street in the Uchiha district, a figure was gnawing on something on the ground, resembling a ferocious beast. The moonlight revealed the face of the figure—it was, surprisingly, an ordinary Uchiha. He was savagely biting into a corpse, the blood staining the ground red.

At this time, Itachi slowly dragged his heavy body down the street. The ordinary Uchiha noticed him and thought that Itachi was also hungry and wanted some meat. Kindly, he tossed an arm towards Itachi.

However, Itachi mercilessly knocked him away.

"Hey, I offered you food out of kindness, why are you so rude!" the Uchiha shouted angrily. Unfortunately, Itachi seemed not to hear him at all and continued to walk slowly but steadily towards him.

As Itachi approached, he suddenly lunged like a ferocious beast, attacking the Uchiha with astonishing speed. His movements were so swift that the other man was caught off guard.

"What are you doing... Ahhhh!!!" The Uchiha didn't even have time to react before his words were cut short. Itachi bit into his neck, instantly severing his throat.

Looking closely, Itachi's eyes were vacant—he had lost his mind, driven only by primal instincts. When Itachi gradually regained consciousness, he stared in horror at what he had done. His body trembled involuntarily as he realized the gruesome act he had committed, and his stomach churned, making him retch.

"What did I do? Did I... eat someone?!" Itachi muttered in disbelief. He couldn't comprehend why he was there, nor could he accept that he had become such a monster. He covered his face in anguish, overwhelmed by self-blame and despair.

At that moment, a figure quietly appeared behind Itachi. Before he could turn around, a cold kunai was already pressed against his neck, and a familiar voice spoke from behind: "Give up, ghoul!"

This voice sent shockwaves through Itachi. He widened his eyes, barely able to believe what he was hearing.

"Shisui, it's me!" he said with difficulty, his voice filled with endless bitterness and sadness.

Uchiha Shisui recognized Itachi's voice and hurried to stand before him. Seeing the blood on Itachi's face, Shisui asked in disbelief, "Why you, Itachi?!"

He hadn't expected that his best friend would suddenly become a man-eating monster.

Itachi was equally full of doubts. "What do you mean by ghoul?" He realized that the term "ghoul" Shisui used likely referred to a creature like himself—a man-eating monster. But how had such a monster come to be?

Hearing Itachi's confusion, Shisui pondered for a moment and slowly began to explain, "This has only started happening recently..."
